He is not going to sign with the fins, he said that tonight....NOT INTERESTED....dont blame him.
We wouldnt get anything for him anyway since he resigned and the contract was terminated. Mutual resignation.

nope... i'm pretty sure he is still obligated to the skins. if he went to another team, that team would have to work out a deal with the skins to allow spurrier to negotiate with that team.

Haha, how could one player (Ricky Williams) affect the entire team? That's just sad. Ricky Williams has a lotta nerve to do that though. I would have never predicted that him quitting would make Wandstedt retire. That's just like woah...

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I keep hearing the bobbleheads on TV talking about how Spurrier is still getting paid by the Redskins for the next few years. I was under the impression that he was let out of his contract. That is, both parties terminated the agreement, he took his $10mil and danny kept the rest. Is that not true?

I thought I read that DS was paying him most of the contract anyway...

He is officially still on the Redskins payroll, his title is a "consultant".

Imagine our offense without Clinton Portis

I think our backups are better than the backups they had in Miami, but you are totally right, we would be sunk (on offense)!

Yes now imagine our offense with Mark Brunell taking the snaps.

While I see your point, without Portis we would likely be 0-8, whereas we have won 3 games and could have won every game with Brunell.
