Patrick Ramsey is grinning ear to ear...

Because when he eventually gets his chance to play Gibbs will give him a ton of chances.
If Brunell can play this bad for 9 weeks then Ramsey will have a very long leash too. So, maybe this is a blessing in an ugly disguise. We can only assume the Gibbs would give Ramsey as much slack as he has given Brunell.
Again, if Ramsey actually were to get 90% of the snaps in practice for a week he would be good to go. I just heard that DANNY WUERFULL's REDSKIN QB RATING IS BETTER THAN MARK BRUNELL'S REDSKIN QB RATING.
Thats all I have to say.

You know thta's a great point..so many QB's in the NFL play on a short leash. When Ramsey get's the call he'll know Gibbs is loyal to the starter.

Gibbs is incredibly loyal to his players and that means a lot to a player. Many times the stars in this league did not start out that way and a patient coach was the difference. Ramsey will get his chance.

How in the heck do you know that? I'd like to see Ramsey play not because I think he'd do well, but because I KNOW Brunell sux. I HOPE Ramsey will be great but he sure looked like crap in preseason and I'm not convinced he's not damaged goods now. I guess we'll find out at the next draft if the Skins pic a QB or not.

I doubt we will draft a QB, since Gibbs has stated multiple time that Ramsey is the "Quarterback of the Future." We have other needs to be filled.

Ramsey is waiting in the wings, patiently learning this offense (even learning from Brunell's errors and "veteran decisions"). When he comes in, and Joe gives him the vote of confidence, he will shine. Until then, the job belongs to Brunell, and I can live with that.
