but my GAME BALL really has to go to the coaching staff !!! speacial teams coach gets    :hail:
defensive coach gets     :hail:
joe gibbs gets :hail: :hail: :hail: :hail:     for understanding PORTIS runs better without all the lead blocks and conter trays ...going with more zone blocking ....now if we could just get our passing game going. !!!! REDSKINZ4EVER !!!!!!!!

Thrash has to get the game ball. Four GREAT special teams plays. Also some more SP tackles to go with it.
The o-line played well..zero sacks allowed and let Portis tear it up, even when they knew it was coming.
And of course C.Griff. If this guy doesn't make it to the Pro Bowl, I'll be dumb-founded.

I would say the game ball would have to go to Portis HTTR

1 game ball.

I give the air out of the ball to Brunell.

Portis receives the pigskin.

Tupa and Thrash get the string.

Defense gets the rubber(foundation) from the ball

Tupa had an excellent game, but let's not forget that Thrash was directly responsible for three of those five punts inside the 20.

IMO Portis and O-Line did their jobs. Same with Griffin. Thrash gets the game ball.....he was everywhere. As the commentators suggested, we should have tried to get him the ball on offense. If Brunell can't reach him deep, run a reverse or a WR screen. The guys a player! Was sad to see him go and am glad he's back!

Thrash was the man--not only for that punt coverage, but the patience that he displayed on that punt return proved to me that he's more valuable back there then Morton.

On defense I'd give the game ball to Springs, but only because he kind of surprised me (I haven't been able to watch a game since they played the Ravens).

IMHO, to be fair:

Offense: Portis and offensive line
Defense: The whole defense
Special Teams: The whole special teams unit

So many contributed to the effort on Sunday, that it's almost unfair to give it to a few individuals...when the afore mentioned played as a solid unit. Obviously, I left out Brunell and our receivers, because they were completely ineffectual. The only credit I can give our receivers is upfield blocking. Hopefully we'll continue to work on NOT DROPPING PASSES during practice. O, and switching QB's. :D

It's a combo, but Tupa is the 1 who kicked the ball & put enough air under it for Thrash to get there. I can't disagree with you so we'll have to give 2 game balls, LOL!

Hell, lets give 11 to the special teams. Thrash, Tupa, Jacobs and Harris shined, but the whole unit played well.

And Skinz74, love the new avatar.

So many

The entire defense shines every week. Griffen is having a great season due a lot to the coverage provided by the secondary. Even Harris seems to be shutting things down when he's in there. Champ who? I think we might have kept the better of the two cornerbacks, money-wise, discipline-wise, and heart-wise. Smoot for Pro-Bowl!!!

As for Thrash, it was great stealing him back. I recall in the final year of Norv Turner, he was the only WR that seemed to get open. He's our best special teams guy (out of a whole bunch of good ones), and he doesn't hurt the cap like some over-paid old guys some people have been talking about. Do we have the deepest WR corps in the league? How is our passing game so awful? Perhaps accuracy and arm strength are sometimes overlooked as necessary in a league where EVERY QB has a decent amount of both. Wait, all but one.

James Thrash was phenomenal. 43 yard return, 3 ST tackles, and those downed punts. He played his heart out and deserves the Game ball.
