Bush wins. The Redskins pattern broken.

It seems to me that Bush is going on for another four years. It was all over the news that when Redskins lose their last game at home before the elections, the senator always wins. And if they win, its the incumbant president. Just like the Redsox broke the curse, Bush broke the pattern. When Kerry was finishing up his campain. He stated "Whenever the Redskins lose at home the game before the election, the senator always wins. And the Redskins lost" The crowd cheered "YEAHHH". Haha that kinda made me mad, rubbing in that painful loss. How stupid will John Kerry look after he finds out that he is not going to be the president. That's too funny. That's what happens when you dis the Redskins. Oh well Kerry, carry on.

I'm waiting for the flag to come down on the field and give the dems the victory.

Is it true that the Dems were trying to get the line official from the Skins-Packers game to work the polls in Ohio? maybe he'll be working on the 'provisional ballots' counts?
Or maybe the election results verifies that that last call in the game was bogus and that the real winners were the Skins after all!

I agree with you Rick, the Skin's won that game the call was bogus.

That call didn't win them that game, that would have put them up with over 2 minutes to play against one of the strongest offenses in the league. Stopping them was not garenteed. What bothers me is that Gibbs is so adament about that score should count that that he can't see past that to realize that his offense sucks. He needs to stop making excuses and get the job done. Hope his headset was working that game.

What's that supposed to mean? Oh, I get it.That would be something else if Kerry threw the flag and the president was called back. Wow, that would symbolize that last game we played. That would be pretty darn amazing.

Yep...I think the Skins actually won so the streak should not be broken. The Ref screwed us...

why did the refs screw us and hurt us like that? Thats a heart breaker. It really is.

So, maybe Bush will win and Ohio will screw us, lol. F-n Ohio. Thats all we're waiting for.

Well, it was said that the same exact play was run three or four times during the game, yet they didn't throw a flag on those. And even so. . . Thrash was in pass protection!!! He wasn't even running a route!! He did not get a edge whatsoever on that "illegal" motion.

I don't think the pattern is broken at all!! I think God looked down on the Skins game on Sunday and thought they won after Portis' TD! I don't think God saw that silly flag the Refs threw...so "Karma" still said Bush was gonna win.

Someone check this. I think the pattern is still in play because it is the Home game in WASHINGTON before the election that matters. The skins have been in MARYLAND since '95. I don't have the statistics but maybe this was the first time the skins were home in Maryland to test this pattern? Just a thought.

I'm just happy that the Packer secondary doesn't get the pleasure of feeling they'd decided the outcome of a Presidential Election.
They were the first team in our history that won, but lost.
Herm Edwards would call that a "moral victory".
I'll take 'em where I can get 'em.

While this is sort of about the Redskins, it is more of a political thread, and therefore I am moving it to the lounge.
