It is not all his fault, just think, if it wasn't for that stupid call at the end of the game, then everyone would be calling Brunell the HERO.....He played as good as Favre did yesterday.......He threw 1 less int than Favre.......get off his case....I think that he is still good.....we have the same problem as the Panthers.....all our players are hurt or out.....it's not Brunell's fault his O-Line is mostly rookies/old people(R.Brown)...........

he still made too many off target throws. cooley was WIDE OPEN in the end zone. no one was even near him, and brunell goofed.
i don't blame brunell solely. but when teams are stacking guys 8 in the box, and you still can't get the ball to your WR's down the field in 1 on 1 coverage, something is wrong. defenses just don't fear brunell anymore. its plain as day. if there was a single bit of fear of the pass there, that 8th man would back into coverage on occasion, and it would open up more room for portis. it all goes hand in hand, but it starts with the field general.

I'm with Jeremy. I don't blame him alone but pull him. What else can we do?? It may spark the rest of the players into performing again. I'd be sick and tired of getting it right just to have the leader of the offense blow it again too.

IF the motion penalty has validity (which i don't think it does), i blame the screw up on brunnell. it's his job to make sure all players are set before he asks for the ball to be snapped.

If we had won Brunell would not be the hero the defense would be. The defense was the only reason we were even in that game...

Brunell hasn't lost us a game. Yet, what he has failed to do is win a game. There is a difference. I could go out there and not lose a game, I'd just hand off to portis every play. A good qb can win a game which has yet to happen in 7 games. I feel ramsey could win a game and with our great d, we could handle errant plays. Does that make sense?

it's not all on brunell ...i think our wide receiver corps are a lot over rated !!! coles...gardner then who ????
does not help we look like a high school team with all the mistakes ..... now is it too early to talk about next years draft ??? HOW MANY PICKS DO WE HAVE IN NEXT YEARS DRAFT ???

Michael Wilbon
After each game this season, I've gone into the opponent's locker room and asked a veteran defensive player with credentials to tell me about Brunell. And each week I've been told that Brunell is most of the problem, that their defensive game plan is to gang up on Portis until Brunell completes some passes downfield, that defensive coordinators are convinced Brunell can't do that any more with any consistency.

If that is true, WOW!

I remember that a lot of the knocks against Ramsey weren't always legitimate because the receivers were dropping the balls so much. Brunell hasn't been plagued with the same problem this year. . .just another factor in why I'm changing my opinion on the QB situation.

sorry, the numbers don't lie... he's the least productive full-time starting QB in the NFL!

OK when we are up by 6 points and he fumbles the ball for an opponents Touch Down, what is that? When we are up by 7 and he fumble twice for a touchdown and for a three point FG, what is that???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Gibbs is staying with Brunell next week. In my opinion This will be Brunells last chance to turn it around. Assuming he does not at 2-6 the playoffs are pretty much out of the question and if Gibbs feels Ramsey is the future then the future should start in week 10.

I keep saying each week that it will be Brunells last chance to turn it around; he never does and he's never pulled, unbelievable!!!!

Its not soley Brunell, but 90% of the problems on offense are his.

Brunnel has 99 problems and Ramsey is one.

A lot of Brunells balls were sailing over receivers heads, even the spectacular Gardner catch was high and behind him - he just made an incredible catch.
He is struggling, no it's not all his fault, but he undeniably has played poorly this season.
I would like to see Ramsey get some more work, remember it wasn't so long ago that he was the "darling" of the organization.
Give Pat another go and see if we can build for the future right now.

Considering our position in the division, I suspect if we lose this week, PRam will get some work.
