1st off I have been a Skins since I was bought into this world...Off the top of my head I can only think of about 3 players (not including QBs) that I just cannot stand...Ur boy Ladell Betts falls into this category...Now he looks decent on Special Teams...But other than that he just looks lost...and whenever we put him in the game, he stinks up the place...(I.G Missed block on Ed Reed...End result: sack, fumble, touchdown....OR...Brunny throws a swing pass to him...Jerry Azuma picks it off...7 points) Will some1 please tell me why on God's green Earth is Ladell Betts getting 3rd down dutties and not my boy...ROCK CARTWRIGHT

We all would like to answer that for you but we can't. See we are at a loss also. We are not the coach. The coach decides what goes on. All of our advise as far as the team goes is hogwash! Nobody is listening. Suffice it to say that more than likely someone pissed on someones corn flakes and their not playing.

Betts in...Look for Pass.

The thing that upsets me is that, other than the Bears game, when Betts comes in you can expect pass. I wouldn't mind subbing Betts in if we actually used him.

I don't like Betts either. I think it comes from when they got rid of Kenny Watson and kept Betts because he was a draft choice. Still its not Betts fault that they kept him. And he does occasionally run well. He is a good special teams player. I just don't like him for whatever reason.

But if you are going to put Betts in the game then at least run the ball with him a few times to keep the other team guessing. Or have him run a route in the flat. Something, anything, but just don't telegraph that you're throwing the ball. I understand this when its 3rd and 10 or 3rd and 15, but what about 3rd and 2?

Betts is the end of the stamp Marty Schottenheimer put on this team. Betts gets the play because he was a 2nd round pick in a failed draft that also produced Cliff Russell and Rashard Bauman in the 3rd round.

This team needs to hire a guy like Phil Savage from Baltimore as the GM. Someone that can evaluate the talent in college and build through the draft. The draft history over the last few years is embarrassing.

We need draft picks. Tired of the over priced underachievers.

i agree with the GM assesment. but marty didn't draft betts, snyder/spurrier/cerrato did. marty actually did a good job with our draft that year.
