Brunell's Comments After The Game

980 reporter Bram Weinstein talked to Brunell after the game.
Brunell said the "HE DIDN'T LIKE THE FANS CHANTING FOR PATRICK
DURING THE GAME". He then said "I'LL DEAL WITH IT". But last but
not least, he stated "I CAN'T BE PERFECT".
He also stated that the pressure got to him and that's why he was over
and underthrowing people. Even if that's true.. be a man Mark!!
When Ramsey was getting battered last year (and everybody saw
that our O-line was a floodgate) he still praised them about how well
they protected him. And you know why? Because Ramsey is a
"LEADER". Even if you are getting pressured..be a leader and stop
passing the buck. You never hear the WRS saying "I would have
caught that pass if Brunell hadn't thrown it so high etc." I'm
telling you now..If Brunell is benched..he won't handle it well
at all. He whined in Jacksonville and he will whine here.
BE A MAN, BRUNELL!!!

Q: Do you think the offense made strides:
"I do. We made some strides in the passing game. That's what we wanted. It wasn't enough to win unfortunately, but we are getting there. We got in the locker room afterward and that's what everyone said--stick together, keep the positive attitude, and pretty soon, these things are going to start going our way. We're hoping that's very soon."

Q: What was your reaction to the fans at the game?
A: "You don't feed off it and you never want it to happen. Certainly you hear it. It's frustrating because you're not going to be perfect. You're not going to hit every throw. You would certainly like to, but you just go out there and do your best and hope you're good enough to win the football game. Today, we weren't."

His over-throws cost us the first two drives, easy. He also missed a wide open touchdown to Cooley. I am sick and tired of Brunell. I'd rather have Heath Shuler back!

Mark Boonell®, I'll take the credit for that nick name. TY very much

Hey, u think Brunell sits at home in his underwear late at night and reads all our negative comments? lmao. Pretty soon
Mark Boonell® will be a widely known nickname among all Redskins fans. I shoulda put a patent on it lol. Poor Mark. He had to hear Ramsey's name chanted among thousands of fans. That's just pitiful. Can't get any worse than that. :)

Sure it could, if they put Brutal back on the field again, it can, and WILL get worse.
