Quarterback. Nothing new. Just my turn.

I am sorry but I have kept my mouth shut this entire season and I have total faith in Joe Gibbs but after this game I am finished with supporting his decision to have Brunell as the quarterback. This is nothing new but pure and simple opposing teams do not find Brunell to be any threat and the defenses are therefore not being spread. I am a little tired of hearing that Brunell can throw deep because even when he does throw “deep” he can’t connect with the receiver so he has no accuracy deep. If the only reason we haven’t wanted Ramsey in there is because of his turnovers well Brunell has not been that sharp himself. This is hurting our talented receivers and our excellent RB. I feel Ramsey has a lot to learn and he needs to mature a little when it comes to his passes but he at least can spread the defense and offer that energetic spark we DESPERATELY need.

I am happy to say we have such a talented defense but our offence lead by Brunell is awful and this season will continue to be nothing but extremely frustrating and will fall well short of any expectation with Brunell leading this offence. Joe please, it is time to reconsider switching Ramsey in instead of Brunell (btw I wouldn’t be upset with Hasselback either, I really liked what he has shown during his limited opportunities)

Ok, I am done venting and if it is Joe’s decision to keep to keep Brunell in as quarterback then it just means it is time for me to move on and look towards next season. :(

I am officially crossing over to the Ramsey camp--though I still would have started Brunell all the way through this week. I just don't see him giving us a shot at winning.

we need a change in washington..not only in the presedentcy but in the qb situation... brunell was suposed to give us the best shot at the right now...but the right now is not working its time to put ramsey in and see if we need to look at drafting a qb ....hell i rather have hasslleback in there than brunell...nothing personal...its just about the "W".....time for a change in washingtom.....

Yeah, I'm starting to think that Joe isn't too concerned with this season, at this point. I mean, obviously he wants to win, but he may feel that putting PRam in now would hinder his progress. If that's the case, I can understand his thought process.

He thought Brunell was the best available, he bonded with him and we got what we got. Obviously Warner or Testaverde would have been the better choice, but he didn't know that and we are stuck with Brunell. Now, he could put Hass in there and get better results, but if he did that, that would probably also hinder Patricks progress. The more I think about this, the more I agree with his decision to stick with Brunell. It's just really really hard to watch week in and week out =(

I do expect to see Patrick in there at some point in this season, but it may come towards the end of the year.

I just hope we can hang onto Gregg past this season. If so, we should be a contender next year.

Man, how disgusting is that. There was no one on motion. It's bs. I hate that F-n referee. He was prolly paid or sumthin cuz man that's disgusting. There was no replay even of anyone on motion... WTF? This is too much right now. Because that play was so beautiful, Portis with the catch and running between 2 defenders all the way and flpping into the endzone for the winning td. Man, im gonna shoot myself right now.

But Brunell was off most of the time. Theres too many ifs in the game. If Royal caught that pass 2 feet from the end zone, we could have had another td..I think thr Redskins are cursed. I really do.

lol, no they aren't

getting the calls, having the ball bounce your way, that kinda stuff is a direct result of good hard work. It's coming, it's just taking longer than we all would like. Have faith man. I know it's difficult, I watch the same bonehead plays, decisions, turnovers, and penalties. It's coming. Trust in Joe. He's getting us there slowly but surely ;-)

Look at how well the defense bounced back with however many starters out or playing hurt. The offense will be the same way once we have a real QB. Unfortunately it may take until next year to have a real QB lol.

yep, Jimmy Johnson said we have the 2nd toughest remaining schedule in the NFL. The season is likely over as far as playoffs are concerned. I said it before, Gibbs could lose all the games this season and I would still be happy. Gibbs is fixing the washington redskins. You can see it all over the team.

Once he gets his kind of QB in there and gets key people healthy, he/we will once again dominate this league. Bank on it.

To bad we spent so much for Brunell. You won;t see Ramsey til Brunell is hurt. We are force to play Brunell due to money we paid him, that's a fact.

I did not want brunell from day 1

even being a long time fan there are three things obvious to me

1) our Offense sucks

2) brunell is inept

3) if gibbs wont replace brunell he has lost his mind !

we actually didn't spend that much for brunell.

8.6 signing bonus and 43 mil over 7 years. pretty low for a starting QB in this league.

If Joe gets to the point where he feels Brunell is hurting us too much and PRam is ready, he will make the switch. He doesn't care how it looks to pay a guy and then not play him. He's only concerned with not ruining PRam IMO.

I hope you're right, I just don't understand the "ruin him" point of view. He's got very talented players all over on offense, if he can't get it done with this group, he never will.

Ramsey is better than Brunell. Don't bring up the preseason, Vivk didn't have a good preseason and I think he did alright. Ethier did Rothersberger
