Great job Mark... you overthrew our receivers countless times in this game and you lost us the game with an errant throw to Al Harris.... Gibbs is pissing me off, he needs to stop being so damn patient with Brunell and take his ass out... What do you guys think

We will be 4-12 under Brunell.
Yet another team that put 8 in the box and the QB could not get it over the top with accurcy.

I'm with you, RIC. See you guys on a happier day (hitting up the grocery store for all that leftover candy on sale might brighten tomorrow for me. . .)
Hail to the Redskins!!

EXACTLY. That's what I said earlier this week. We won't win another game with that wet noodle arm in there.
Was I the only one that saw him chumming it up with Favre after the game with a BIG smile on his face? Let's see if he's still smiling if Gibbs ever sees what we and the rest of the NFL see and sits his

on the bench where it belongs.

Brunell sucks, and we have been telling this to Gibbs for weeks. So right now i'm ticked off at Gibbs even more than I am at Brunell. Brunell can't go deep and everybody knows it. In my opinion we are in the top five with our reciever bunch. Either Gibbs is not calling good deep pass plays until the two-minute warning or Brunell just doesn't feel confident sitting in the pocket. But back to the point, I am angrier with Gibbs right now for not putting Ramsey in then I am with Brunell. I guarantee you, if Brunell would have been on this team before Gibbs came in, then he would have been benched coming out of the bye week. But just because Gibbs brought him in he doesn't want to bench him. It's time to admit that you shouldn't have lobbied to pay Brunell the big contract and stuck with the kid.

Its funny watching the Rookie QB for Pittsburgh throw a TD for 60 yards, when we have veteran dirt for a QB.

Haha veteran dirt.. thats a good 1. Why was Brunell all smiley and gay at the end of the game with Favre? lol. What a fudgin game. When Portis made that flip into the enzone, the crowd went crazy. It was amazing. Then uh.. called back.. uh.... I'm still confused.

Streaks are made to be broken. Look at the Red Sox. It looks like the Patriots will have their streak broken today. After that horrible call by the refs, it was very possible that the Skins won the game.

agreed except for the part about Gibbs. It takes a lot more than sticking with Brunell for me to get mad at Gibby. Frustrated mebbe, but Gibbs is the football God and he knows what he's doing. Joe simply is not someone who does something to save face. He does what he has to, to win. If that includes letting PRam get his feet under him before he throws him to the wolves, then so be it.
Just remember, Gibbs is building for the long haul, not for a few more wins this season...

You know,Patrick has played a season before. He KNOWS what it's like out there...he's NOT a rookie.

I agree with you guys, Brunell sucks, I would rather see Hasselback start over him, Please coach Gibbs, BRING IN RAMSEY!

Good lord! Brunell is a such a buster. Im not even frustrated because i Knew exactly what was coming today. Passes thrown that a 6ft 9" reciver couldnt catch, balls with more air under them that the hindenburg, and Feet shakey enough to win the Hop scotch Internationals! Im Pissed! What is it going to take to put Ramsey in there? Ok i know he threw 3 picks against the giants, but at least they was some sembelance of an offense and i know the chemistry between Ramsey and L.C. is much better. I mean, he hasnt caught a touchdown pass! there is NO downfield threat whatsoever! I know all of this has been said allready, but i seriously need to vent before all my Skin's gear finds it's way on Ebay for hells sake!
P.S. The D gave us FOUR turnovers and we can only put up 14!?

Maybe Gibbs is trying is trying to have a really high first round pick.

It's time for the Offensive Line to take matters in their own hands. They need to get together and decide to not block AT ALL on several plays and let the opposing team's defense come in there and take care of Brunell for us! Like many others, I have tried to be patient with this Brunell experiment. Well as an engineer, I can say that the results are in, and this guy doesn't begin to pass the test.
How many balls did we see him throw over the receiver's heads today? It had to have been at least five or six. He is right, his arm strength is not in question, but his accuracy is. The one catch by Gardner over the middle was a circus catch that was again thrown behind him and way too high.
AT 2-5, it makes absolutely no sense for Brunell to start next week. It is time for someone else to get their shot. I say someone else because I believe that Ramsey may not be a better quarterback than Hasslebeck. Clearly Ramsey has better tools, but I am not sure that he makes better plays. Whoever it is, it should not be Brunell next week.
Please O-line, put us out of our misery!!!! Get this guy out of there for us!!!

Is it anyone's Birthday this week, maybe brunell can go get drunk and get a DUI so he can sit out a game and we can beat the lions.

Good one.
Daniel Snyder will be under heat this week by the 'paying' fans and the media.

today officially and irrevocably marked the end of the season. it is over. we now have nothing to play for but "Looking Toward 2005".
Q:does brunell have a role in the 2005 redskins? we can only pray the answer is no, cuz clearly he blows goats.
Q:does ramsey have a role in the 2005 redskins? we don't know. which is why we need to make some productive use of the rest of the season by playing him to find out. if he still plays crappy by the end of the year, we'll need to trade for or draft a new QB.
personally, i think he has the talent. when did that come into question? he was being heralded around the league as a rising star not but a year ago. i don't understand how everyone has forgotten how good he could be. i think it's obvious that he's going to have to go through a rough patch because of the following (which are all steve spurrier's fault):
* he was smashed into pieces on every play last year, so he's shellshocked
* he has to learn a new offense, which means that first,
* he has to UNlearn spurrier's crappy old offense- which is more than just the plays. spurrier made him think a certain way, and it was dumb. so he has to relearn how to THINK.
all of this stuff is going to take a while, and it's going to be really ugly in the mean time. but he is still a great talent, and can be a great QB. THE ONLY WAY HE CAN GET THROUGH IT AND GET GOOD AGAIN IS TO PLAY!!!
in conclusion, mr. gibbs, i worship you. seriously. however, play ramsey IMMEDIATELY or i will FIRE you!

Unfortunately, Brunell made just enough plays to make for the arguement about keeping him at quarterback.
I am having flashbacks to the 1985 MNF game when Theismann was playing so poorly, we all wanted Gibbs to pull him. Then BAM - the famous broken leg game. I don't want Brunell to get hurt, but a change would be nice.
