Packers - Our "Signature" Game

This week the Redskins have an opportunity to show the NFL that we are not as bad as our 2-4 record. The Redskins can show the NFL that we can play with any team in the league.

Call me crazy....but I think the Skins are going to win this game and make that name for themselves.

I expect them to win by a score somewhere around 27-21 or 24-17.

Brunell will likely have another mediocre day; however, the biggest difference this week will be Portis. Gibbs will once again spread the offense and allow Portis to run against a very porous Packers run defense. On the other side, I don't think Ahman Green will have a good day at all. In fact, I expect him to fumble at least once.

I expect the Skins to control the clock (keep the ball away from the potent Packers offense) and win a close game.

It's just a gut feeling I have....and I hope my "gut" is right.

I think we'll have a fair amount of passing yards this game. Here's my thinking. GB is going to score some points. If Brunell can get some production going great. If not, Ramsey will be in the second half. Either way, we get some passing yards.

Unless of course, Portis runs for 5 touchdowns and we don't have to throw at all.

I just don't think we'll be able to win another 17-13 game this time around.

Gotta agree with you guys on this one. GB is coming off a big win against Dallas to face a rested and hungry 'skins team. Its now or never! I think the 'skins will jump out on this one.

Stop jinxing us bro dont you know the cardinal sin as a fan is score predictions admire the faith. But as I have learned as a fan is to never predict the score. We can always hope and forsee good things but exact scores I dont go there as a fan. I do see good things for us in that game.I know your a vet Big justice. But ive been predicting games alot and been eating alot of crow over the years.I just learned that to never predict the score at least I think I shouldnt predict scores. But I am definatly optimistic about this game against the packers. I think the big thing for us will once again be the turnovers. Can our offense hold on to the ball namely Brunell. Just dont hurt ourselves is all im hoping for . Control the clock and dont turn the ball over. Keep the ball out of Farves hands especially.Im sure well have to go to our receivers some time or another.Portis had a feild day against the Bears and we still bearly got past them. Bottom line we got our defense now we need points.I cant wait to see what Gibbs has in store.

Well...the last score I predicted was the Packers beating Dallas by a fairly small margin....and look what happened. Hmmm. That gets me thinkin'.

And it appears that Favre has a sprained hand, so either we will be facing their back up QB, or a less than stellar Favre, which I consider to be the more likely option. I don't see Favre not playing, risking his "streak" of consecutive games, and I think if the defense can pressure him, he'll try to force something, and with a bum hand, we could start to even out the give away/take away ratio. Maybe the defense could even score once or twice.

don't really know about a "signature" game ....but this game will either bring back hopes of a good season or we can pretty much kiss this season good-bye !!!
the pack is pretty much an up and down team so we do have a solid chance of beating them [-o< .
i know one thing is for sure we can keep counting on our "D" to keep us in games our offense has to put some points on the scoreboard this week, because if farve is 'on' we are in deep doo-doo !!! GO SKINS !!!!!

Redskins4ever, that's exactly what I meant by "signature" game. The Skins will either show that they are a team not to be over-looked....or a team that others can automatically put in the "W" column.

If the offense can't put points on the board for us the least they can do is NOT put points on the board for them
