Spurrier throws the towel!

I was reading ESPN.com about yesterday's game and Spurrier was quoted saying:

"I'm not going to get on my players any more this season," "We are what we are."

This to me signals his belief that there is no hope left in salvaging this year. A year that was supposed to be better than last, with our new QB at the helm. Obviously Spurrier is incapable of motivating his troops. He probably thinks that his coaches are also incapable of coaching these players.

The only positives I can honestly take from this season is the following:

1. We have the best up and coming QB in Ramsey
2. We have a great Wide Receiver in Lav. Coles
3. We have a quality kicker in Hall
4. We have a great Defensive Tackle in Darrell Russel if he stays our of trouble.
5. Bruce Smith more than likely will not get his sack record, which is the only reason he is still playing. He is washed up.

And don't forget Darnerien McCants - he needs more time on the field but has done well when he's out there !!!!
