I just read where drew brees will be a free agent at the end of the year... might this be someone the skins should look at,(as long as he keeps up what he is doing) next year?... i don't like our future with ramsey or brunell... brees is playing quite well since getting better protection than he did last year. he doesnt have any good recievers and yet he is again, playing solid... young, tough, smart... who knows... any thoughts??

No way, Ramsey is just as good, if not better than Brees. Ramsey got to play 2 quarters, with no prior notice, and is still learning the system. If you put Brees in the Gibb's offense, he would not be succesful at first. Ramsey, if given the chance and time, will shine.

stop trying to buy another player already.... we need to just focus and stick with what we have... the problem with our offense is they haven't played together long...

football is the epitome of a team sport... this isn't basketball where you can bring in a player and make an impact... brunell (even if he sucks) in his second year..will be better than brees in his first...

^I agree, besides Manning would really break the bank if we got him. I'd rather have Pennington, who's more cap-friendly.

Nah.. Breez is just now becomming fluent in Marty's system. We dont need another quarterback to come in and have to repeat whats going on now. Besides.. Ramsey has more potential than Drew Brees. ( of cou rse thats just my biased opinion)
