Please post your name here by responding to this thread.
No qualifying. None of this, "I'm a Redskins fan, but..."
Who's who here ? Who is still a dyed-in-the-wool, do or die Washington Redskins Fan ?
In January, everybody was a long time fan. Win or lose, we all said.
How about now ?
Gut-check time, people. Are you in or out ?
Put TCWest right there on the list. This is my team, and Gibbs is my coach.

Greg Smith. I'm in. No offense, but from where I sit that is kind of a dumb question. Sure I get frustrated and rant a bit, but never have I considered leaving my team.
Skin's 4 life...

I live in Philadelphia, PA, I am 22 years old, and have been a Redskins fan my entire life. Grew up watching them all the time because my dad grew up in Virginia, and that was his team, so it became my team, and will be my team for life. I will be behind them through the thick and thin, always proud to be a skins fan. As 'skins fans, we have a lot to be proud of, a lot of things that other teams don't have. For instance, numerous HOF's, 5 Super Bowl trips with 3 victories. Keep that in mind, there is a storied history here, and there will be the low years, and it is going to get better.

I am 29 years old living in Beamsville, Ontario, Canada been a fan since the early 80's, watching Riggins, Thiessman the hogs, Green, Mann, Manley, Coleman etc. Ive been to Washington twice, Both losses in 98 to Denver and last year to the NYG, also seen a loss in Detroit 15-10, and the loss last week in Cleveland. For the record, The Dawg Pound in Cleveland is really not the place you want to wear Burgendy and Gold with those rabid fans. Also seen a loss to Buffalo last season. I am a die hard fan that hold my head hi, week by week, season by season, however does'nt mean I like how things are being Handled in DC right now. There is no reason the skins are 1-4. Every years it been the same since 93. No playpffs, no real fight for the playoff. With the excepption of 99 the skins have realictically been eliminatied by mid november. Even the bothed snap in 99 kind of summed up alot. Wrap all this up add to another awful start as much as I bleen burgendy and gold let me tell you it hurts.

The redskins team play right now is atrocious. There clock management is horrible. There offense is enept. The offense seems to hand every game to there opponents while the defense plays there heart out and does everyhthing in its power to get us a win. They are absolutely dreadful to watch. Now, with that being said I wore my redskin hat proud all day today, and told anyone who would listen that I am a redskin fan for life. I know good things will happen for this team in time and I will always stick by them through the good and the bad. I have watched every redskin game for the last 16 years of my life, and I am only 22. My above statement is just commenting on how they are playing this year. I will always live and die with the redskins.

What an incredibly stupid thread. Your team isn't where you thought it would be, so you're all running around like it's the end of the friggin' world. Half of you are screaming bloody murder, the other half are ... well, this thread is a good example of what the other half are doing. What kind of personality does it take to think something you say on a message board somehow makes you a superior fan than someone else?
I really did think quite a bit before I decided to post this. It's not my place as an outsider to say anything, and to be honest I've enjoyed your ever-deepening misery. But you're quickly moving past the realm of misery into the realm of silly. That's not healthy for this little community or yourselves individually.
I'm gonna go outside now, get a couple lungfulls of cool, fresh air. Maybe watch some Cinemax when I'm done. You guys could use a little of that yourselves.

Who cares what you think. Are you just posting here to mock us, or are you truly a die hard Redskin fan. I understand that the eagles are argueably the best team in the NFl (maybe behind the patriots) but this thread was for people who are Diehards, to let people know we are sticking by our team. Thanks for the advice Dr. Phil, but until you fall under the category of diehard Redskin fan you should but out.

I don't even know what that whole thing was that "Dr Phill" said. All I know is that for some odd reason I love this team. I don't know, maybe it's the colors or whatever, but I love this team. They're losing right now, 4 in a row, but I love this team. Gibbs will pull it together sooner or later.
16-0 or 0-16, always a diehard fan, like the rest of the skins fans. Go Redskins.

All the way from Germany....and anywhere else Uncle Sam sends me. I took leave just to fly home and see the season opener. Are there any other teams in the NFL? Just read the signature block and you will know how I feel....

Kris Ryan from denton tx, been a fan for over twenty five years and have had to put up with badgering this last eleven or so. I cant see not loving the skins, it is a disease that i have and it will take more than a 1-4 start to cure it. If they start 1-6, i will still believe they can make the playoffs!! I have something to be happy about...the houston astros finally quit disappointing me!!!!!!!

From the Original Gibbs to the new Gibbs and everyone in between...I've been here and will continue to be here W's or L's. I can't say I won't be sarcastic about some of it, though...it's in my nature...= )

Do I qualify as a die hard?
... and GF... I think this year's success may be going to your head a little. I could quote some of your own message board's reactions to losing the NFC Championship... 'dump Mcnabb', 'dump Reid', 'we suck'... but why bother?
it's a fan's right to be fickle... or not.
But don't try to paint this as a Redskin-fan-based issue. Sure it's all green in Philly land right now but I'm near positive that the reason you STARTED coming here was to get away from the fickle nature of your own fan-base occasionally.
... in fact, I seem to remember Philly fans wanted to dump McNabb after TWO games in 2003... TWO bad games and you had a revolution. When I went to your board for the first game last year...
I was the only one saying good things about Reid and McNabb... your board was pining for them to be axed... but you went on to the NFC Championship and the fan base was content again.
... until they kacked again.
I'm not addressing you personally...
But somehow you're of the impression that only Skins fans are fickle.

Im in 100%, I live in Ohio and have been a Redskin fan for over 35 years, I would never give up on the Skins for any reason, Back in 1991 I was 3rd in voting as the Redskin Review super fan of the year, The Redskin Review was a paper on the Skins which has now changed to Warpath.. I live and breath Redskin football

I was a fan for the 80's and early 90's glory years...and I've been a fan through the lean 90's and 00's...and will continue to be. Further, my children (16 months and 2 months) will be Redskins fans (they have no choice).
Right now, I think I've got the battered wife syndrome...where, no matter how many times they do me wrong...I keep going back...because, you know, they really do love me.

I take offense to this ignorant question.
I've been a fan for 35 years. Through Allen, Gibbs, Turner, Robi, Shott, Spurrier, Cooke, Snyder, Kilmer.....
I've seen the best and the worste.
Who the hell are you and how long have you been a fan.

I've been a Skins fan since my earliest memory. My Dad has always been a Skins fan and as a kid I wanted to emulate my Dad. He tells me about the glory days with Sonny Jorgenson, my earliest memories are of Billy Kilmer. I have loved the Redskins through thick and thin and no matter what I will cheer for them. I just wish we could become a dynasty as we were in the 80's, it's much harder these days with the free agency but with Gibbs back we have our best chance.
My office in my house is my Redskin room, I have all my memorabilia here including a Redskin trash can I've had since I was about 10. There will never be another team for me, no matter how good or bad they are.
Football is the only professional sport that I really enjoy and being a die hard Skins fan has made football season miserable for the last decade. Hopefully that will all change now.

Orlando, FL. Been to ten games at Fedex, long drive, but worth it (anyone can't go to a game toss me your stubs and I'll do your seat justice). WORKED in Carlisle as a ball boy for George Allen for six years.
Hail to the Redskins, Hail Victory!
All of those who know me can sing that song (even though they hate it).
