Joe's voice tone reflects the collective emotions of the staff, players and fans. His message is the right one. As always, the first to assume responsibility and the first to highlight the right way out.
My admiration and respect for him are greatly enriched by his words at this difficult time.
I look forward to witness our great transformation. It is the kind of story that you may want to share with others in the future.

Redskin in Canada... i like your optimism, but there comes a point when you have to look realistically at this thing... the skins are jinxed plain and simple... it has to be some voo-doo mumbo jumbo. it is not going to get any better. No QB a high-priced offensive line that can't block.. a RB that no can't hit the holes. WR's that can't get open and SP that are just plain awful. i will still go to the games and not sell them to other people, but it's not going to get better ANYTIME soon.

I think it's silly to suggest we are jinxed. We have struggled since 1993-1998 and 2000-present, but there are many more teams that are a hell of a lot worse off than we are. We have struggled because of the revolving door for the players and coaches. Was Dallas jinxed because of their three straight 5-11 seasons? Are the Eagles jinxed because they never won a superbowl? What about teams that have losing records every year, such as the Cardinals?

Ahhhhh!!! A man without enough faith. I have seen them before. Nothing wrong with that. It only makes their path to success all the more difficult and painful.
Faith is a virtue. It is based on the strength of our convictions. It is founded on the character of our coaches and players.
I believe because I have nothing but the greatest respect for the character of the Redskin core of this team. I am convinced about their ability to work as hard as it takes to improve after every game.
I am sure about their intelligence to identify what is wrong and correct it.
I am convinced about their individual and collective talents to learn and execute as taught.
Do I believe in immediate turn-arounds. No, I have made that mistake before and paid for it. But I do believe that hard work is rewarded when intelligence and character lie at the foundation of a team.
I will save your message and this response in order to send it to you as a private message sometime throughout -this- season. all you will have to do is mark the date in your calendar.

Dude, get it together man. Gibbs is taking a losing attitude from the past 12 years and having to change that and convince a team to buy into a new system (a team that's had a zillion differenct coaches/systems in the past 12 years). These things take time. Once they start clicking and knocking out mental errors, things will happen.

BTW.. SP is SPecial Teams.
Redskin In Canada... i hope and pray you send that to me one day... but all you guys need to look at the big picture here. There is something fundamentaly wrong with this team. Portis rarley fumbles and he has 4 this year. The line isnt opening holes for him. The defense is good but without blitzing they are a big play waiting to happen. This team will not win more than 6 games this year. Geez, i am not tyring to rip them... i am just thouroughly convinced it won't happen this year and unless 2 offensive lineman fall out of the sky and drag a QB and a pass rusher with them, it's not happening for a bit.
