Please Help: Televised Fans at Games Needed
Posted: Tue Sep 28, 2004 2:13 pm
Hello all:
I'm a reporter, living in DC, and am currently writing a story for the Washington Post about fans at football games. Does anyone know the gentleman shown several times during last night's (Monday, 9/27) Washington-Dallas game on ABC? I've dubbed him "Super Redskin Man," as he was wearing a red body suit with a gold "R" emblazoned on his chest. The suit included a red hood and a cape (probably gold). If you know this individual and can contact me (or have him contact me), I would appreciate it very much. I'd love to interview him for the story.
Also, if you know for a fact that you yourself have, at one time or another, been filmed by a television cameraman and shown on-air during the broadcast of a professional or college football game--because of a clever sign, funny outfit, or some other *creative* act--please contact me. You must feel comfortable being interviewed and possibly quoted in the Washington Post. Unfortunately, I need people that have been filmed but are not part of the Hogettes (sorry, guys, no offense intended).
Finally, if you have simply seen great, funny, creative signs made by fans at a Redskins game and think the slogans are worth passing on to me, please do.
Thanks very much. Go 'Skins!
