with the "officials cost us the game" we lost .... they won ...yes they're were some bad calls but to say "that's why we lost is well ..... LAME !!!the boys have our # and we have to find a way to get a win agaisnt them !!!!
the timeout's I.M.O. were the :?: of the game ?? with 1 timeout we should have been playing in overtime !!!
our "D" gave up some big plays which this type of "D" will do at times ....man that halfback pass was something to watch ...the wide receiver was to open .....along with that sideline pass which there was a blown coverage.so to say the officials cost us the game i will DISAGREE !!!!

I agree 100%. The officials did not cost us the game. We lost the game, fair and square. The Cowboys have our number, but the gap is narrowing. Enough said!

You should never allow yourself to be in a position for the officials to cost you a game, but with that said, be real, they DID cost us the game.

The refs, in my opinion, did NOT cost us the game. For one, if we had scored a TD right before the half, we would have won the game. The Refs didn't have anything to do with that. To say the Refs cost us the game is hogwash. You won't hear one single player or coach saying today that the Refs cost us the game. That's a cop out. Yes, they made bad calls but you gotta live with the bad calls in the NFL.

This is a very mature post...seriously. I thought coming over here you guys would immediately throw the penalties in my face, but a refreshing post.

In any game there will be a bad call or a few bad calls...I admit there were some questionable calls, BUT if one team is really more dominate then another team those calls should not win or lose it.

Hey guys...the rival is back...I admit...I look forward to these games naow and can not go to the schedule and mark off an automatic W. I understand we own ya lately, but Gibbs is as good as Parcell's, that and an owner that will drop some doe. I'm screaming that we did not sign a playmaker at DE, when some were available. Errrr.

Your right the ref did not "cost" us the game but the league really has to do something about these interference calls...make them reviewable or only penalize 15 yards??

A 13-14 point spot by the refs.

Did not cost the game.

[sarcasm] OK [/sarcasm]

13 point gift from NFL to Cowboys
- 3 point margin of victory
= 10 point Redskins victory

Pretend all y'all want. That math says otherwise.

While whining won't change the outcome, the officiating sucked. The officials DID play in the outcome of the game...

That said, I saw a lot of improvement, and movement towards the discipline and character of a true Gibbs coached team. This team is moving along just about as I expected. I still don't expect the true magic to begin for another few weeks.

1st and goal from the 1 yard line .....four plays later 3 point not seven
Margin of victory 3 points
You do the math.....
Reviewing that TD catch and losing a timeout
Then moving the ball down the field with little time left to play only to have the clock run out because we couldn't stop it..... Burnell also burned a timeout to avoid a delay of game call when Sellers lined up on the wrong side of the formation.
no math needed for that one
We lost the game do to OUR OWN errors, sure the Refs blew some calls but we put ourselfs in that postion.

Didn't we burn TWO second-half timeouts in order to avoid delay of game penaties?

Yeah we did Brunell got the play late on the first one
(playclock was longer during Joe's 1st run)
