So it is official Bru will start. If he does well I will jump on his bandwagon I just want to win. But if he cant get the job done (CANT THROW THE LONG BALL)!!! , and the D-fense gets 8 or 9 in the box and starts to crush us (stops the run game and sits on the inside routes) Should coach maybe think about putting PRam in and leaving him in the rest of the season to make sure he is our guy for the future? or not? :?

I just don't see that you play good D and don't turn it over. N.E.,Baltimore and T.B. have all won SB without throwing the long ball.

Brad can still throw long ,didnt he throw a few on us? or try to anyway. But I agree with you about the turnovers ugh no matter what we do turnovers will kill us. But I have faith in Gibbs to correct those mistakes :)

About my last post I wasnt saying Brad could throw long all the time, just that he has the ability like Brady to throw long and teams have to sometimes in certain situations respect that. Bru has not proven he can do that.

Brunell will not finish the game, in my view. He will likely be gone before the end of the first quarter. At his age, a hammy injury takes more time than six days to heal.
I expect that the extra snaps to Patches will enable him to know where the receivers are going to be.
I just hope the receivers are wearing the same color uniform that he is. :)

Brunell won't make it threw the whole game.

I agree with DEHog in that you don't need the "long ball" to win games. It's great for the fans to see (and gets them all giddy with excitement); however, it's just not needed.

That's not to say that a good passing attack is not needed. It certainly is.

When the Pukes put 8 in the box to stop Portis, Brunell will have to be ready for his short-medium range quick throws. If/when he can burn the Pukes on a couple of them, you'll see them backing off the 8-man fronts a little.

Then...our boy Clinton can inflict some serious pain.

ramsey at this stage is best on the field in mop up duty.the redskins can't win with him at qb yet.he looked like a pop warner player last week at ny.imo, the only way the skins can win tommorow is if brunnell or hasselback start, not ramsey.

damn, I saw this at the bar last night. It's very hard for me to believe that Brunell is ready to go. I'm almost wondering if this is some Gibbs motivational tool being used here. Play MB for a quarter and then bring PRam in to see if he steps up this time. Throw the pukes off on defense a bit.

I was expecting to see the real PRam this week and now he's not starting. I'm so disappointed. Not sure if we can win this one with MB in there

Whoever it is...Just hold onto the ball and win. Don't press too hard. This is a really big game with the Giants winning again today (so far, any way) and the Eagles winning again. We can't get buried so soon in the division.
