Cory Raymer?

What's the story with Raymer? When we signed him I think most of us assumed he would be our starting center. I figured Friedman beat him out in camp, but now after a couple of games it seems like the interior OL is not what we had hoped. Being from Arkansas I am a huge Ray Brown fan, pretty impressive play Sunday, not to mention at age 41, huh.

Actually, this appeared to be a position battle that never surfaced. I think it came down to keeping the O-line in tact from last year. An O-line that faced adversity and played through it together. Raymer is a beast, and if Friedman and Brunell keep dropping snaps, I think you will see more of him as the year progresses.

Also, he is coming off of a torn Achilles' so that may have a little bit to do with it as well.

I also was wondering about Raymer. After seeing all the mistakes during the snap I thought we would see more of Raymer.

Cory had a chance in the 2nd half of game 1, but when Brunell tripped over his foot and tried to handoff, it resulted in 6 points the other way. Cory was yanked right after that play and, to my knowledge, hasn't been in since. We need him in there!!!
