The crystal ball says Hasselbeck will play

Mark Brunell won't be able to go. Ramsey will be his uaual self, stone feet, and hold the ball too long not be able to move in the pocket and take some bad sacks. I think after he throws his first pick Gibbs will yank him. Hasselbeck played the best in camp give him a chance JOE!!!1

Gibbs is very loyal. If Ramsey starts, Ramsey finishes.

Gibbs doesn't jerk QB's around. Other than injury it is very doubtful Hasselbeck would play. I would venture to say that even if Patrick led us to victory Monday night Brunell would remain the starter when he returns.

I think your crystal ball is broken.

"Wait that's not a Crystal ball, it's a volleyball! Good ole' Wilson playing tricks on you again!" ;-)

I don't think it's a crystal ball. I think it's one of those 1-976-tarot card predictions. Whoever Gibbs starts, will finish the game unless an injury prevents him from finishing.

Looks like Ms. Cleo's conned another person. No way Hasselbeck plays in this game. Gibbs will feed the ball 60 times to portis before giving up the rock to his 3rd stringer.

When asked if Hasselbeck would play during his press conference Gibbs said "No" rather emphatically. Don't see it happening unless Ramsey goes down.

I am glad that you brought one of those 8-balls at the store but those aren't very reliable.

I can see this happening if PRam insists on double clutching and holding onto the ball to long and not stepping up in the pocket, trusting his protection and letting it rip.....or THROWING THE BALL AWAY!

Hopefully he'll only attempt around 25 passes and complete 15-17 of them with no picks and the running game works and wears down the pukes. I don't like our chances when playing from behind like last week.

Ramsey will be fine - all he has to do is THROW THE BALL AWAY when in doubt. The first INT was due to Coles - who slipped or stopped running the route. The second, Ramsey had to adjust his throwing motion from pressure - that should have never been close to Ramsey. The last one, was a blitz-read, missed by the WR's and a dumb throw, too deep to get. If the WR's read and come back, the Skins pick up 20 yards and get another first down. Ramsey should have thrown the ball away - clearly outside the tackle box. Considering the fact that Ramsey didn't get many - if any - reps through the week and still pulled the Skins close enough to win is amazing to me. I'm not happy about the loss - but I'm not going to quit on Ramsey, nor the Redskins.

You're so right! Hasselback was the MAN this preseason wiping up all of those third stringers. If Parcells activates and starts his entire practice squad on Monday, Gibbs should definitely go to Hasselback.

I love how people jump from bandwagon to bandwagon. Ramsey throws three interception in a half and everyone is clamoring for Hasselbeck. Remember the last time Hasselbeck faced that Cowboys defense? I'll give you a hint:

0

Yeah, that was his quarterback rating.

Now I love Hasselbeck, the point is one game is just that, one game. You can't go to your third string quarterback until you at least give Ramsey a chance to practice a week with the starters. Jurgensen always says it is an entirely different mentality starting a game as opposed to coming into it as a backup...

TIM HASSELBECK IS OUR 3RD STRING QUARTERBACK

...that means if our first string QB (Brunell) gets hurt AND our second string QB (Ramsey) gets hurt then TIM will put his clipboard down, wave to his hot wife in the stands, then go into the game and make half of the Washington area begin their "contrversey" debates.

Look, heres a lil tidbit.
In the last 5 years who is the ONLY Redskin quarterback to have a victory against the Cowboys?

Answer: Patrick Ramsey 12/29/2002 - WAS.20/DAL.14

I really wish that crystal ball was relevant to reality because with PRam under center....and the way he played last week...i don't know how BADLY we are going to lose. If Ramsey is playing, the only chance we have to win is because of our Defense, defensive turnovers, and the fans at FedEx. I'm sorry but I have NO confidence at all with PRam right now.

Boy, I hope your wrong on this one. I look for Patrick to play a much better game Monday. He has had all the first team snaps this week. If our o-line returns to first week form and protects the way they should, Pat will be OK. Hopfully K. Jones is ready to return to the lineup. Nothing against good old Ray Brown, but I think Kenyatta was doing a fine job replacing Jansen.

Well thats a start. PRam is having all the first team snaps. How many has he fumbled in practice?

I know yall are going to think i'm an anti-redskin but I have absolutely NO confidence in this guy. Hopefully JGibbs will screw something in his head so PRam can have more completions than INTs.

You do not yank a starting quality quarterback wiith a bright future in a game that counts because he throws a few bad passes. What do you thik that does to team confidence? IT KILLS IT! If they think that they will be pulled for making a few mistakes you run a huge risk of everyone playing on edge. You have to make a decision and stick to it. I beleive ESPN.com recently wrote an article about how The 'Fins changing their quarterbacks like they did. Ramsey is the man on Monday.

Hasselbeck

Hasselbeck will ONLY see any game action if Patrick gets hurt. Otherwise, it will not happen.

I hope the OL does a great job this Monday.

Would love to see Hasselsack play!

I've been calling him Casper Hasselhoff.
