Minnesota needs to blitz better. They did atleast two delayed blitzes, that dont work against a three step drop

minnesota is dominating time of possession. Minnesota keeps shooting themselves in the foot. Sound familar? Daunte should have thrown to the TE who was wide open in the endzone, instead he fumbles at the goal line. TO's TD wasn't even a catch, not to mention he obviously didn't get in the endzone. No challenge? Bad Tice, Bad Tice....

I didn't even see the 1st quarter and half of the 2nd quarter. Football gods are out to get Gibbs I tell ya!!!!

;-)

The way we played this week, the Cardinals and Chargers would kick our a$$. Philly has looked sharp.

That one T.O. catch wasn't a TD after they showed the replay. Oh well. I was looking at their schedule and they've got it made. All of the tough teams they play is going to be at home. All their away games are against mediocre and sucky teams. I thought winning teams were suppose to get a tough schedule the following year. The Panthers sure did. I guess the league and Las Vegas want to see Philly go to the SB.

Didn't they just lose a prime OG?!??!?!

The final score was pretty indicative of the game. Minnesota has a good OLine and Philly was getting consistent pressure with a 4 man rush.

I don't think Westbrook survives the season, but it's looking like their division.

Wow.

Yeah, I don't know if he can handle the heavy workload of 17 carries a game.

Hitdoctor, you're right. You ARE getting WAY ahead of yourself. You have got to stop thinking so negatively. Have faith in this team. 2-0, 1-1, or 0-2 doesn't mean a damn thing yet. If we were 2-0 right now, people would be fearing US.

Like BTP said, any given Sunday.

The Vikings defense sucks anyways. That's why we will beat them January 2nd. The D made slight improvements this offseason but their weakness still showed.

I hope you downers aren't coming to the Monday night game against Dallas because we will need all the SUPPORT we can get.

man we still have to play the game, they do look great but they have yet to face a team with a "D" so lets not turn in a loss just yet ..... this season is far from over ...... tampa was week 1 win ..... giants was week two loss ..... cowboys week three ???? so calm down, we are 1-1 !!!

it is early young grass hopper... remember last year when philly started 0-2 and looked like crap people were writing them off... judge a team after about 4-5 games....

Exactly Jake! HitDoctor, let's give up on the season now! A Gibbs team is known to roll over after a loss and throw in the towel (sarcasm). Come on man! Get it together. It's only game 2 for christs sake.!!

That game could have easily gone the other way... Dante suffering from fumbleitus on the goal line, TO's phantom catch in the end zone, missed 40yd field goal, and the TD negated for a holding penalty... if any two (or even one) of these things went the other way Minnesota is in a great position to win this game. True, Minnesota is a real play-off contender, but Philly has its weaknesses and are a marquis injury away from big trouble. If (or should I say when) Westbrook goes down, I hope it's not too late!

It's called ball control. If you can't hang on to the ball, you are going to lose it. We beat ourselves and so did the vikings. As good as the "team from philly" looked, they very well could have lost that game. Just the other side of the coin goes, we very well could and most definitely should have won our game. We were one score out of that game even after we spotted them 17 points!! Patrick will get all of the snaps with the 1st string this week and, my god, you watch my words, he will improve and look like the quarterback of our future!!! OK... maybe that's a little much. But I do believe he will do a whole lot better than 3 interceptions!!!

Besides... other than that, his numbers were pretty good and he did do some pretty good things in there. IMO

I'll worry about Philly when the time comes... in the meantime, it is DALLAS WEEK!!!!

It is a cliché but it works for me:

One game at a time!

Week 1 we were on Hog Heaven. Week 2 we are in Hog Hell. What is this team all about anyway? I do not feel we truly have the answer yet.

We could have the good guys pull ahead and provide leadership!
or
We could have the bad guys from the remaining mediocre legacy pulling the team down!

It is a struggle between the best in our team against the worst in it. Sure the odds are gainst the Skins. But I do believe Joe will place a competitive team on the field. Indeed, they could pull it -any given Sunday-. That is what football is all about.

Okay, going back to the First Age of Joe Gibbs, in week 1, the Redskins showed up. In week 2, the "Elmers" showed up. Wanna guess which ones take the field on Monday night?
