OL is overrated, play a 7 man front and stuff the run, QBs can't carry the team.

So, around the NFL in the preseason the OL were considered a weakness and now they're overrated.... ???

Gibbs didn't win 3 Superbowls without making adjustments.
He's not sitting around saying, "They figured it out, we're screwed now."

Let's face it as well - we beat a Giants team who was playing the best football they can, we had 7 turnovers and still had a chance to win. Gibbs will make his team cut the mistakes out. We'll only get better.

You know the best teams have an even balance of run and pass. Gibbs has been concerned about the run....well it won't get established if the team can't figure out how to pass. The timing is OFF and the receivers keep dropping passes. Dare I ask if we should bring in Spurrier to help with the passing game? Coles needs to flat out run...use his speed against opponents! If Gardner, our mid-range threat, can't hold onto the ball(which I don't think was a problem) then throw it to

ey...who has been for the most part sure handed. I'm not sure why they did not try to get the T.E.'s the ball more but that's a coaching issue. If nobody is catching then you still have McCants, Jacobs, and Morton. I have not been a fan of Morton but yesterday I would have tried anything! MORE PRACTICE FOR THE QB'S AND RECEIVERS! Ok now I know there were some break downs in the blocking up front....so find a dump off man. The Giants kept doing the same things over and over. Get a T.E. out their to screw up their rush. That's exactly what the Giants did with Williams defensive blitzes....right? Oh and before I end this...have you noticed that when Brunell gets to the line and calls the play it almost always is "340"? 340, 340, 340, hut, hut, hut...lol.

I think the actual word is put 8 in the box and make the QBs beat you.

Everyone is down now and I understand that, but I can't help but see the bright side. We were screwed a few times, one that comes to mind is brunells first and goal that was spotted short and we only got the field goal. We had 7 turnovers, lots of penalties, bad protection and lots of dropped balls. We only lost by 6 points and had a shot to win until the last minute of the game. We easily should have won this game.
Gibbs will get guys straight and we will be a pretty good football team this year. Not elite, but pretty good. We only have 1 loss. I still expect us to be vastly improved this season, and I can't wait for Monday night!!!!!

Still gagging at the mention of the "S" name, but let's face it, the 'Skins did more to beat themselves than the Gi-ain'ts did to win. I mean, really, if you take away the "gimme" points from the turnovers, the ain'ts scored what, certainly no more than 10 points on their own, and the 'Skins put up 14. Not a great number, and I was screaming for them to go for it on 4th & inches in the second quarter, but once the turnovers are dealt with, we will be able to win the close ones again, rather than "gift" the other team. Now, where's that super glue...
