I'm estatic that the Skins won and even happier that Dallas lost. But unfortunately, I think I have to agree with you on Portis. While I have no problem with Gibbs running a back around 30 times a game, I don't think Portis will be able to take the pounding. Portis isn't Riggins. He's a totally different back. Don't get me wrong, he's an outstanding back, but I don't think his body is built to take that many hits. He might be able to handle it for awhile, but I'm afraid it's going to wear him down. I'd much rather see someone else come in on short yard situations.
Vinny was ok, but if he has to keep throwing 50 times a game Dalls is in serious trouble. hehe

How about we leave that decision up to Portis and the coaches? Or do we all think we know better than them now?

We played the Jets last year and Vinny was the starter, they've already met, LOL, but that might be worse!
