NFL Lives Mark Schlereth (spelling) picked Clinton Portis to win the rushing title. Lets hope!

That's Great if it happens....although I havent seen much in the pre-season. I think coach Gibbs is holding him back till the regular season

I am comfortable with a prediction of one among the top 5 RB in the league. I am not sure about number 1 in terms of yards. Holmes and Tomlinson are pretty formidable players.

I defintly think Portis will finish top 3 in the NFL in rushing! I think Priest will get the title! I see Portis or Ahman Green finishing 2nd! Portis could defintely go for 1600+ yards this year!

Jamal Lewis
Portis
Priest isn't a huge rushing yardage guy, as he gets a lot of receiving

I think CP can win the title no question.. at this point my only question is if he will hold up the full 16 games. While not fragile, he is not deuce staley. But with Jamal lewis not playing the entire season this really opens it up for CP or one of the other great backs.

Clinton is a monster rusher. Gibbs won't show anything untill game day. Wait and see , he'll get his yardage.

Two words will help CP to try and make this prediction come true....counter-sweep.

Portis might lead the league's RBs in receiving yards as well -- can you imagine Portis coming out of the backfield against a LB with the emphasis on the 5-yard chuck rule?
