Closing the shop

With this being the last week of pre-season, at some point this week, this forum will move to the archives and be replaced by the 'Game Day' forum again.
Thanks to everyone for TRYING to keep pre-season and training camp discussions in this thread, and we hope you will continue to do the same with Game Day.

I think we all need to give Boss and the mods a big round of applause for keeping everything in line for us that throw in that "unintentional curveball" from time to time. God knows, I've posted in the wrong forum here and there.
But I think I've been more conscious about where my posts go.
This site has been better and better each day due to the newbies being groomed correctly and us veterans following suit of the mods requests.
Great site Boss! I really don't know how to sum it all up how much the site means to all of us dedicated Skins fans.

...and a good shop it was...but on to the regular season.
I'll say again: I've seen a lot of boards, covering Premier League (yes, Spurs, glory, glory), MLS, baseball, the Caps, etc.
This is far and away the best board in all sports.

Bahhhhhh... you guys say that to all the webmasters.
Thanks for the kind words folks... they're always well received.
As for the board... some of us have been part of other Redskin communities over the years and we'd like to think that we learned a litle something from our experiences...
We're just trying to keep the forums free of rhetoric, name-calling and bickering... and yet also full of knowledge and Redskin kinship.
I appreciate the effort that everyone puts into making this the best Redskins board on the web.

as for the forum... It being back open... It makes me feel so close to season... and like I've been a part of the HOGS for a while.
