This guy defenitely deserves to make the final cut. I know that it is preseason, but he has shown great strides and determination to at least have a strong consideration. He and Betts would be great compliments to Portis and the running game. Nothing beats "fresh" productive legs when it comes down to rushing depth.

I really like Sultan and he was pretty solid tonight. But after what Ladell did tonight, I think he may get caught up in the numbers gamme.

Unfortunatly, you could be right Jake. Sometimes some great players don't make the final cut. I'm not labeling him with greatness, but he is defenitely a keeper if we can do so.

Agreed.

The announcers made a point that may count against Sultan, is that he tends to "dance around" in the hole a bit, which won't cut it against starters.

Maybe we can get a 7th rounder for him...

Sultan has played extremely well this preseason. I still think he's gonna make the final cut, but only for special teams. At least for right now.

I like him over Rock right now so we will see. Sounds like Betts must have done well enough to cement his spot.

Wow, that's saying quite a bit Speak. I think Rock will get those cobwebs out eventually, that is if he makes the cut. McCollough is a good enough back (as is Rock) were he will have a job somewhere regardless. I think both stay. BUT will we have the room? Betts defenitely made things real interesting for all of us.

Stay tuned..........

Sultan McCullough has impressed me lately, but he's pretty the same type of runner as portis, except that he's not as good. We really don't need him that much.

 He hasn't been on a playing field since he was with us during last preaseason.

Did you evaluate his skills standing on the sidelines as a Carolina Panther and Cleveland Brown practice squad player last year or something?

Go easy on 'im, Jake. I think he mistook this for the Madden thread or something.
