What are some of your preseason bets with your friends who are not Skins fans???

I have bet my Cowgirl friend lunch that the QB that gets the most snaps this year will not have a QB rating of over 50.

I have bet lunch to my Giants fan that Warner does not make it through game 2 ( here comes Lavar ).

Another Cowgirl bet is that Emmett gains more yards this year than Julius Jones.

Start those friendly wagers now. It is always fun to collect on getting some of these right.

OK I've go 2. 1 is about locked up.

Ok the first one is that Vinnie Testaverde is opening day starter, for dallas. My fellow skinz fan at school, nor me would know that Carter would be ctut. I will get 5 bucks off of that one. I knew Vinnie would be the starter, and I could have bet him for more, but I coud not do that to one of my best freinds or another redskins fan. But if this guy was a fan of any other team, I would have took him, for a lot more.

The next one is a little more dear to me. I bet with one of my best freinds, that our skins will beat his ravens this year. It is not for money. It is so much more than that. If the Ravens win I have to come to school the very next day wearing a Ravens jersey. BUT if the skins win he has to come to school wearing a skins jersey. If we win, I already have the perfect jersey lined up. I coud give him a Champ Bailey jersey that is 2 sizes to small for him. But this guy was my best friend was kicking us skins fans while we were down.


So I will give him a Deion Sanders Jersy which is 3 sizes to small, with the numbers wearing off.

I have 2 friends that are Cowboys fans. We have a $10 bet on each game. In addition to that, I bet one of them $20 that the Skins would finish with a better record than the Cowboys.

my bets are a little more of a gamble, but i'm a gambling man.

one is for 50 bucks that portis will be the leading rusher this year. a friend of mine has ladanian and another has lewis...so if neither wins then whoever's guy gets more gets the 100 bucks

another is that the redskins finish above .500...so 8-8 and i lose. that's for 100 dollars.

then i have another one that the skins will win the nfc east..that's for only 15...we'll see what happens

I bet with a Gints fan at work on the two games and the season record, but last year I also bet him, before the first game, that Fassel would get fired after the season. Won that one!

I have a bet with my teacher from last year. (Definitely not a friend. I loathe him.) I made this bet in May or June. Our school goes to PA to get some of our teachers. So a lot of those teachers are Steelers fans (thankfully not any Eagles fans I can think of.)

I made a $20 bet with him that Clinton Portis would have more rushing yards than Duce Staley.

That's right, Duce Staley. Instant $20.

Look at the facts:

- Duce only has 3 1,000 yard seasons in 7 years.
- The highest yardage total for a season was 1,273 in 1999.

- Clinton Portis has only played 2 seasons in the league.
- And ECLIPSED 1,500 yards BOTH seasons!

Since he knows I'm going to win the bet, he made another one with another kid. He bet $25 that Hines Ward would have more rec. yards than Torry Holt. I guess he'll lose that one, too. Holt led the NFL in rec. yards last year.

It feels good to know I'm going to be $20 richer.

I have bet my friend who is a Niners fan $20 that Clinton Portis will outrush Kevan Barlow! I think I have that bet won already for sure!

#2 $10.00 with a co-worker also better record his PANTHERS or my SKINS.(SWEATING THIS ONE)

I bet an Eagles fan $50 that Portis would have more combined rushing/rec yds than Brian Westbrook (before Buckhalter got hurt, but I'm still very confident). Also bet a Giants fan $10/win for the entire season (I've got to think I'll win at least $30 out of that one too).
