i loved it when we got this guy, I feel as if he's going to have a hugh impact on or defense, but now we have these injury issues that aren't allowing him to even get in on the practice feild. is he ever going to be healthy enough to have the impact that we expected of him? just how bad is his knee?

... it's 'just' tendinitis in his knee.
He got a $2.5M signing bonus I believe... it's doubtful that he'd be cut because we already have some dead cap next year and we really don't need any more.
Even if he couldn't play ths year I think we'd put him on IR and hope he could play next year rather than just dump him.
But the Skins are just being cautious and letting him ease back into it... though I can't say how much of an effect it will have on his ability to play later in the year (even if he does return soon).

thanks i knew we couldn't just cut him, but what a waist it would be if we couldn't use him at all don't you think?

considering how high Williams is on him and how much GW says he gets the defense I doubt there is a problem.
I bet he is doing walk throughs and if GW is right, probably giving lectures on assignments to guys who don't get the system by now

He'll play and play well. I can't wait for him to pick up a Kurt Warner fumble and trot into the endzone. Ahhh, sweet.

No way Barrow will be cut, I agree that when he gets healthy he will make an impact

I forgot that I read that we were trying out Antonio Pierce at MLB........I guess they have the faith in him. He is at least FASTER then Mitchell. This D is based on speed.

This is either a typo or something that Freud would have a ball with.
"Hugh" is an Eagle, again. Get over it.

Barrow will be healthy enough to replace Pierce by week 2.This is my prediction. He is like having a coach on the field, we need him.
