I hope Samuels is OK.

Looks like a sprain - should hopefully be ok. He was giving blocking lessons to Dockery while getting ice - that's a good sign.

He'll be OK, but we still need to sit him next week.

Yeah I heard him on the post game. He'll be sitting next week. He sounded like he was ok though. He said something about spraining it against the Panthers a few seasons ago and this not being as bad as that one. So he should be good. He also commented that he didn't want to spend alot of time with the trainers, nothing against them.

be honest - I was telling my wife when we watched the game and the replays that I figured it was a bad bone bruise considering the way the helmet hit Samuels' ankle while it was flat on the ground... the good thing I saw was NO swelling when they showed his ankle from behind (big foot) on TV after they had removed his tape and shoe... Boss - you worked for an ortho guy - don't most bad injuries puff up right away? My knee did when I hurt it years ago... but I don't know about 'em all...

I'm all for that man. I'm sure we'll be very cautious leading up to this last preseason game.

the protection held up well enough with three backups in there didn't it? :) The pocket really formed well and only got pushed a couple of times... and Brunell showed what he can do when someone breaks containment ::grin::

Thomas and Samuels will be back for the season if their injuries aren't bad...
