Redskins LB Marcus Washington Live This Monday Night On Pro Football Central Radio Show
Just confirmed for this Monday Night's big PFC Radio will be from the Washington Redskins starting linebacker Marcus Washington. Washington is coming to the Redskins from the Indianapolis Colts last season where he had 97 tackles and six sacks as the Colts reached the AFC championship game. He already is making some good noise in preseason by getting a sack against the Miami Dolphins and along with his first team defense not allowing a single point yet in preseason. Also already confirmed for his weekly segment will be ESPN's EA Sports NFL Matchup producer Greg Cosell live this Monday night as well. Dont miss Greg Cosell, Marcus Washington and your calls live this Monday Night at 6:05 pm est!

I talked to him at Training Camp breifly and he was very well-spoken and pretty darn humble for a guy with his talent. I agree, he should be an excellent interview.

I think he's one of the most underated LB's in the league and Im not saying this cause he will be on my show and because I will be speaking to him on Monday either

Greg Cosell seems to be really knowledgeable... I would love to get a job with him...
I would salivate to be able to watch this stuff on coaches films like he does...
Put in a good word for me Bri? ::grin::

think he needs a Redskins guy in his entourage? ::chuckle::
Seriously - he took a half a question (thanks to my cell dying) and answered it very well... I was impressed...
You guys might want to seriously address your phone volume outbound - I almost didn't hear the person ask me what I wanted to talk about - sounded like he was talking through 100 yards of cotton... why I stuttered at first...
Is he related to Howard?

Were looking to get onto a station and solve that problem. It happens here and there when we have some1 on a cell it can be fine once and awful another time its really a toss up but were looking to fix it for sure and he is Howards son I believe or nephew

Brian - ask Marcus how it feels to be in a more downhill style of defense rather than a cover 2 - something that should play more towards his talents and speed...
I would call and ask but my voice is totally gone from the Tech USC game... I can barely whisper

Will try to remember that!

thanks - we might have lost the game, but it wasn't for lack of fan support - a lot of people I have talked to this morning are whispering ::grin::
only 11,000 USC fans were there and 79,000 Tech fans... that place rocked

Sounds like the Gator Bowl, except all the Mountaineer fans left in the 3rd quarter. M-A-R-Y-L-A-N-D Maryland, Maryland!!!
As far as Marcus Washington is concerned, I would like to know what his impression of the defense is, now that they have some game experience under his belt. Granted, that is probably already on the question list.

well, I can't say that it was a strong interview... too much fluff - smack talking, asking him the same thing he talked about already (why the Skins, then followed up by almost the same thing) then Auburn... didn't get any further into the defense like asking about 4 starters that are hurt (Arrington, Barrows, Daniels, Griffin) or either question we asked on here.
Dunno, bro.
