LOL Your motherly instincts Terri. I'm sure he made it just fine.
Congrats Jake. I failed that darn test in MD 2 times. And the time I passed was only because I was on the verge of tears. Maybe Jake can teach me how to parellel park.

Thanks guys!
I made it to work and back just fine. It was awesome getting to drive by myself today. I can't wait until I get a car of my own very soon!
(I have a liscence, a parking spot at school, and no car... what a combo!

)
The PP area was a lot bigger than what I was practicing for 3 days with. Thats why I passed.
JF, I work nights so don't come around here from 4-11:40 PM and 4-1:00 AM on Fridays.

Yes, the hours suck but I'll live.
Thanks again everybody!

Maybe we should start a thread with everyone's vehicles pictured in them... that way you know which of us NOT to PP beside.
.... Junior is growing up fast... soon, we might not be able to call you Junior.
Congrats again Jake... I know it was important to you.
Maybe you'll see Kelli Johnson stranded at the side of the road one day...

Congratulations, Jake! As for having a car while in High School.... way overrated. Save up, and you'll have one when you go off to school, where it'll really come in handy.

Ok as a teenager that always had to hitch a ride, a car in high school is not overrated. It would have meant meeting alot more curfews.
I would say don't run out and get an expensive car though. I know the first day I had my lisence to drive in Japan I hit two cars. On the way home none the less. LOL
Good luck Jake!

In her defense, she didn't have to pass a drving test first

First time driving on the wrong side of the road and the lanes are narrower (sorry Nik, that was the best I could come up with

)

Like you needed to mention that... she had 2 accidents on the way home!

Was it the first time she'd ever seen a car? Did she not know you weren't supposed to run into them?
JK Nik...
I'm sure the roads were very narrow.
... but I'm still taking the ride with junior...

Man, it was late. Give me a break. I didn't think of it as PeePee. I was too lazy to type parrallel parking.
And yes, maybe I will see Kelli Johnson stranded somewhere.

Boss...that's hysterical....I can't stop laughing....Jake...no point trying to explain that one....point is...the pp you passed with was bigger than the one you practiced with for 3 days. No way you can get out of it - may as well keep your mouth quiet (as Dexter Manley would say).

Hey wait a minute. I was driving on the wrong side of the road. It wasn't an easy adjustment. And they weren't accidents exactly. I took out one guys mirror and ran into a yellow post.
And Jake you know that finding Kelli stranded doesn't mean you get to slash her tires or disconnect her battery and sit there and wait right???? LOL

Jake -- A HUGE Congrats to you!!!!!!!!!

<--- well, okay, NOT that one!
Especially while driving!!!!
Jake wrote: The PP area was a lot bigger than what I was practicing for 3 days with. Thats why I passed.

I admit, I really thought you were going for your drivers license!

<your neice may be close to getting her PP license!>

Curious, when you "practice" do you use a bulls-eye???? Or a Cowpukes star???
Sorry Jake!

I'll cut that out now!
Enjoy the freedom the license gives you! But, be careful and be safe -- arrive alive!

hahaha NIki! Well, that settles it, they were "deliberates" not "accidents"!!!
Sorry, but that was funny! 2 deliberates while driving home after getting your license!
I will agree with the adjustment to driving on the other side of the road. That's probably VERY odd at first!
We are all very glad that practice makes perfect!!

Why would I slash my girlfriend's tires?
