ESPN is reporting Correll Buckhalter tore his patella tendon tonight and is out for the season. Somewhere Duce Staley must be laughing.

Westbrook is their go-to guy anyway.

Westbrook was the starter anyway. He's smaller, but he's the better back. Faster, higher YPC, and much better hands.

Westbrook was your starter???? HAHAH you are crazy hes way too small! He is at best a changeup quick 3rd down back, he is not an every down back! Eagles are not going to have a run game! General Failure your Eagles are screwed!

Again, you do not have a clue. Please do some research here, I can't possibly point out every one of your misconceptions all the time. I'm only one man.

When the invisible man in the sky closes a door he opens a window. My favorite rookie Thomas Tapeh will be getting more time at RB now.

Dorsey Levens was signed today. No better than Eddie George right now, but he's cheap, available, and already knows the system.
Go Tapeh!

Again, I have no love for Eagle fans in general. I base this on the fan reaction when Irvin went down for good.
For me, it's okay to feel relieved at not having to face a particular player, but it's wrong to get any kind of schadenfreude or joy from it. That's just me, though.
I hated Micheal Irvin (the player...not the man. I never met him. I guess I'd have to be a lawyer, judge, crack dealer or something for that to happen

), but I knew what the game had lost when he went down. The league was just a little flatter for it.
I know the Eagles will find a way around this. Lately, they always do.

this is certainly a big blow to the eagles offense...westbrook is good but he's not the type of back to carry the entire rushing load...as for levens, he's been washed up for about 3 or 4 years now...you guys should have kept staley

Staley was the best back on the Eagles last year. Now it's Doresy Levens!

Laughing at someone else's misfortune's might get you pointed out by those who are of a "higher level" than the rest of us...
Doresy isn't a bad guy to fill in for their loss... But I do agree... Their probably hating it that they didn't keep Staley...

Staley wanted starting money and starting carries, two things he wasn't going to get in Philly. The only thing
I regret is not knowing how to correctly say Tapeh.

Screw the "higher level" - I hate the Eagles!
The Eagles had a three headed monster at running back last year and it took a lof of pressure off of McNabb.
Now teams can virtually ignore the running game and come after the qb. TO is gonna wish he went to Baltimore.

I agree that they had better depth at RB last year... But TO probably didn't want to play in Baltimore because Boller would be the one throwing to him... and that guys a joke...
But I'm glad he signed with philly and looking foward to Sean Taylor shutting him up this year...

Dorsey Levens, 2002: 75 rushes, 411 yards, 5.5 yards per carry, longest carry was 47 yards. Also had 19 catches.
That's pretty much all we need from him this year, 4 to 5 carries a game at the most.

You forgot to mention his 2003 stats with the Giants...
68 rushes, 197 yards, 2.8 yards per carry.
Yep, washed up.

I didn't mention what he did with the Giants because it has little to do with what he's done with the Eagles. Besides, 1 year is not 3 or 4.
