Fox 5 News just reported that Lavar Arrington hurt his ACL and will not play this weekend against the Dolphins. They mentioned it at the end of the halftime newsbreak. I hope it isn't too serious. We can't afford to be without Lavar for too long.

I heard it was a sprained knee. He'll miss the Miami game but should be ready to practice Monday.

Thanks Brandon. Anytime I hear knee injury and ACL, I fear the worst. I still haven't found any other mention of it online.

8) Relax, Relax. It is a 1st degree sprain. I was alittle worried to at first. Those are 3 letters you don't want here about an athlete

A-C-L.

Anyway he will be back Monday.

You can stop freaking out now.

This is what it means:

1st Degree Sprain - damage to only a few ligament fibers
There will be pain when the site of the damage is touched. Stressing the ligament (when the knee is slightly bent and the shin is moved inwards in relation to the thigh) is painful; this action is reproduced when standing up from sitting in a chair.

It is painful, but it is smallest of all acl injuries.

Good Im glad they're letting him sit. Thats why Barrow is still MIA, he should have sat too.

Believe me, Arrington won't miss any games this season. He's really digging being returned to his natural spot.
At any rate, no one player here is going to make or break us. We can afford to sit LaVar here and there, just not for long.
