How long before our Rookies are starting.

Alright. When I see both Sean Taylor and Chris Cooley, I don't see rookies, I see major contributors to our football team.

Sean Taylor, What more can you say? And Chris Cooley has the size and hands like Glue.

One thing I like about Cooley is that demention he adds by being able to line up in the slot. Come out of the backfield and his intellegnce.

He plays smarter than KW2. Yet he gives us everything we wanted out of him (besides speed) without the head aches.

Sean Taylor he's got everything. I am totally speechless. Speed of corner, Size of a linebacker, hits like a mack truck, and one thing I did not expect to be this good instincts. If he can stay out of trouble off the field he might just be "The Next Ronnie Lott"

I said what I needed to say. I say right now Make Sean Taylor our starting Free Saftey and make Chris Cooley our starting H-Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like that they're being brought up slowly. It'll make them hungier...and they'll likely play better in the long run as a result.

I was wondering myself when the two offensive line would be put into the fire. Something is up with them if they keep going out signing OT's. RIGHT

Yeah...kinda like your QB situation, Gambit.

Maybe Parcells will suit up before it's all said and done.

Love to see ST open a can of whoop on the Tuna. Would pay $ to see that.:)

I don't know that I'd bet any kind of money against Brown. He's a pretty tough hombre, despite his age. I bet he sees some action this season and that he doesn't disappoint.

As for the rookies, Cooley and Taylor are clearly getting up to speed. I think they'll both be in the starting lineup.

If the Post, and Times are anything to go by, look for Taylor to play against the starting Miami Offense (may not start himself though) this weekend. That would put him on track to start for at home vs Atlanta.

Cooley will start by week 8. Just a hunch.

I sorry Watersucksboy, but I guess you need to stop dreaming about Parcells in a uniform. But to get back on track, we were not talking about Dallas QB's, we were talking about the Skin O-line and the two draft pics.

SOMEBODY FRAME THIS!!!!

I hope we start a lot of rookies. I know if a rookie starts for this team it'll be because he earned it. if he earned it he'll do good on the field. CHeap, young, talent, I love it![/quote]

Waterboy:

Please be careful about this type of post. Gambit's post was fine; however, your post had "flame" written all over it in that it was specificall directed at Gambit, it really had little to do with the original thread topic, and it seemed to intend to illicit a negative response (from Gambit). I refer you to Rule #6.

6. Flaming... will not be tolerated and is defined as follows: Any post in a thread that addresses a poster directly, does not have anything to do with the original post or whose sole purpose is to illicit a negative response from other members of the site.

Again, it wasn't the most flagrant violation I've seen...but it was just about an "outright flame"...so please be careful in the future, okay?

Gambit, changing one's user name in that fashion is really a personal attack on that user...and is clearly inappropriate. I refer you to Rule 5:

5. Agree to disagree. Everyone's opinion counts, is valued, and should be respected. If you can't respect someone's point of view -- ignore it! Personally attacking another poster by name-calling will not be tolerated. You may call someone's comments "stupid" without calling the person who made the post "stupid". Take any negative personal stuff to a private message, e-mail or the Talking Smack forum.

Although Waterboy's comment to you was inappropriate, your response was also clearly inappropriate. Two wrongs don't make a right, dude...so please be careful about this in the future.
