Laveraneus came up limping early in the game, as well.
Turns out to be a right shin bruise, but it was cause for concern as I watched the game. He's a warrior, though, and he will play the whole season.

I'd rather LC play healthy, though, instead of a little gimpy. He was hurt for most of last season. I can't imagine what he would do if 100% heathty?!?!? Scary.

Unfortunately, it looks like he won't be 100% until next season. However, I'll be happy to see the 95% LC stretching the field all season long, and catching those footballs in traffic.
He is the man!!! On the play during which he got hurt, he was sandwiched by two defenders, and the man, held on to the ball. Awesome!

LC just got nicked by a cleat - nothing serious. Wasn't the infamous "Toe", which was what I, and most of you I venture, was initially worried about.

LC's knee hit the saftey in the head. it looked like that was the reason he had a bit of a hobble....well, at least one play, anywho. i don't recall the "cleat" play.

from the WP:
Coles declared himself fit to practice today after bruising his right shin. That occurred late in the first quarter after he caught a 34-yard pass from Ramsey. At the end of the play, a defender stepped on Coles, leaving cleat marks.
