Tim Hassellback

I know its early but I got a feeling that Tim will be our starter. He looks like he has been in this system for 3 years or so. He is a beast and he loves hitting Dmac. As I type he hits Dmac for a 20 yard gain. The annoucers are all over him 8)

I wouldn't bet on that, but I'm glad he's our 3rd stringer.

I'd have to see him against a first string defense before i would consider him our starter..... although i am very happy with him being a back-up compared to the rest of the back-ups we've had the past couple of years....

We also have to keep in mind that we are facing the NFC champs. We didn't score a TD against there 1st stringers, but they didn't score on ours either! We still have 3 more games to go.

Brunell was in there with the 2nd and 3rd and Tim still look more comfortable. I would really like to see him perform with the 1st string to see what this dude could do under some real pressure.

No way. After tonight, the honeymoon is over. This is what happens when Tim is no longer a surprise for the opposing team. He's simply an average quarterback.

Agreed. 2 picks late in the game...1 with the game on the line against scrubs isn't a good sign. I'm not condeming Timmy, though. I think he has his rightful place on this team...it's just not the starting position. Or maybe not even the backup position...time will tell...

The receivers need to help the man out. They are not running through their routes and are not fighting for the ball. They just stand there and let the defender step in front and do nothing as if the ball will go through the defender and right into his hands.

It's Brunell's job to lose right now.

Dude, don't get me started on him tonight. He looked like total crap. He threw it straight into one Panther's hands (no Skins receivers were ANYWHERE near) and thankfully the guy dropped it. He threw a couple INT's. He just looked like crap. I was not happy at all tonight.

Exactly! I was very dissapointed in our lower string receivers. One of Tims's ints weren't his fault. The receiver made NO attempt to come back to the ball. The receiver didn't even try to knock the ball down.

Ramsey is trash, Im just going to be the 1st to say it.
I'm ready for Brunell or Tim to go in as starters. They way I feel about Patrick right now..., I'd put Hall in before Ramsey. The kid isn't ready.

Just think, he would have had like two more ints if the dfenders did not drop them  I dont know though, he still looks comfortable in there. Why did they take DMAC out. He atleast made TH look good. :?

TH still has a ways to go. so do the rest of the qb's. and the rest of the team for that matter.

I tried to convince myself that this was a classic "weak-sister" Gibbs ploy. I tried to tell myself that he got everybody together in the lockerroom and said, "Okay, guys...listen up. I want you to go out there and really stink the place up. I don't want anybody to be expecting a good team for the season opener, alright ? So, let's go out there and just really suck !"
Not even Joe Gibbs, though, would go quite this far.
This is depressing, the lack of cohesion and team work. Everybody seems unsure of where they're supposed to be. Did anybody else see that one Carolina receiver open by a good eight yards, no less than four times ? He scored on a really good one, too.

It's not all that bad TC.

The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow . . .

We just still have a lot of work to do, and I for one am not losing sleep about this preseason game. We will come together and Gibbs WILL have this team ready to play come Sept. 12th.
