1. Yeah, but this only happens once in about. . .well, probably close to 50 years or so.

2. I'm not totally dissatisfied with Sean Taylor not starting---just look how well Andre Lott is playing! He'll have his chance, anyway, and will probably be the guy when week 1 rolls around. Until then, in my mind, he's still just a rookie trying to prove himself--let him do that in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters.

3. Yeah, it's a very dissapointing start for him.

So far in the second quarter the skins defense looks decent

Patrick just has to relax He looks very tenative and seems to be aiming the ball instead of just looking and throwing.

Taylor caused a fumble on His first tackle.

yeah, that was my next observation...taylor is a PLAYMAKER! as soon as he comes in the game he makes things happen...he's probably the biggest reason i want to watch the rest of this boring game...

burnell is adding a spark as well...

He was so not calm -- two fumbled snaps and all.

I can't believe the job of de-Spurrierizing #11 is turning out to be this big.

Brunell, first toss, 20+ to Cooley. Then he almost had Cloman in the end zone.

And, I find it interesting to see Carolina break out their alternate jerseys for a road preseason game. Unless, they've made the switch to the blues as their primary dark jersey.

On the defensive side, I'm seeing a trend devloping: Sean Taylor is the real deal (I say he's starting by the national-TV preseason game at St. Louis) and Ade Jimoh stinks.

The Redskins' best chance is to get this game to a battle of the TV-husband QBs -- Mr. Hanging with Mr. Cooper (Peete) vs. Mr. View (Hasselbeck)

Your right Taylor makes things happen. Brunell seems to make His choice's faster.

no doubt, it is an emergency if this game keeps continues at this rate...but i guess that's why they invented half-time for these kind of emergencies -drinking

Anybody else find it funny, that when Cooley was wide open on his first catch... in the replay, he still did his studder step to fake the guy out even though no one was there... The kid looks like he can catch anything you throw at him though...

And I gotta give a big "hell yeah!" to Coles... the guys out there playing like it's December... I cringed when he went across the middle and jumped up and caught that ball... that guy killed his calf though... I'm ready for him to sit out till regular season.. the guys got to much heart though....

I know the backups are in but that #94 Warner is playing well.

Yeah.. i saw he had a pretty good tackle... actually.. I'm pretty impressed with the entire defense this week.... both first and second stringers....it looks like they shook off the cob webs last week... and this week they came out knocking people around...

Now only if our offense could shake off the cob webs.... Thanks goodness we've got 3 more preseason games after this to work on them ;)

I guess Bostic mean's that since most tackles are way over 300lbs Warner is giving up a lot of size, but if He can be effective who cares.

Great throw and catch by Brunell and McCants :)
