Predicted rains from Hurricane Charley could make for a messy preseason football game between the Washington Redskins and the Carolina Panthers Saturday night.
Storm Center4 meteorologist Tom Keirein said the first rains from the advancing hurricane are expected to arrive Saturday evening. But the heaviest rains will hit the D.C. region Saturday night into Sunday morning.
And Kierein said Charley could deliver wind gust up to 40 mph.
Redskin fans who plan on going to the game are advised to be prepared for a lot of rain.
