Wow, so much to tell...

Wow, so much to tell... and so little time to do it.
What a vacation Taz and I had and on a vacation that made every attempt to go to the dumper.
The reason? Simple. Because of the people that we shared it with.
While it will take me weeks to spew out all of what happened in the last 10 days, I wanted my first post to be a thank-you to all of the people that we got to spend time with.
Scott (hailskins666) and his gf Amy - we all tried to prove we were teenagers again, and spent some real quality time together. What do you say about two people that you're so similar to except that it'll be a long year waiting to see each other again. Thanks for everything.
Dan (DE Hog), wife Renee, and son Brandon - when a guy is just as advertised, you can't go wrong... when he and his family are that and then some, you are really fortunate.
JansenFan, NikiH and Jackson - barely knew each other going in, spent a lot of time getting to know each other. We are proud to add JansenFan to our merry troop of volunteer staff (I just posted his first article submission on the 1st page as well
). I'd describe Jackson to you, but it's just one of the articles I intend to write (with their permission), so you'll have to stay tuned.
Wingman - my brther from another mother put himself through a lot of sacrifice to come spend some time with me. What can I say? They don't get any more solid than Wingman in every which way, and words can't express my gratitude for the sacrifices you made to come and spend some time together. And now some other people know why I'm proud to call you friend.
Terri and Jake (SkinsChic) - I feel like I know them so well, that I almost forgot. But you two both know how special you are to Taz and I that I'm sure you'll understand. What a difference a year makes Jake, it was really great seeing how much you're growing up. I feel like you're my little brother and you both know I'd walk a marathon on glass for both of you.
NC43Hog - wow, what a hoot. What a solid brother. No surprises other than that he's more comical in person and his overall likeability shines through even more. Thanks for bringing your buddy Mark along for a day too... a Jets fan braving Redskins Park.
Rich (skinsfaninroanoke) and wife Sherri - we didn't get to spend much time together, but we enjoyed what we did. Thanks for braving the injury to come down and hook up with us.
The Hogettes and Mike Jaber (new member Hog Wear Spike) - wow, here's another troop that requires an hour to tell... definitely another article. I got to hang out for the whole day with 9 of the 12 Hogettes, including Howiette who invited me to be there when he was inducted into the HOF. I also got to hang out with Mike, he and I have a ton of dialogue coming our way this year and you'll all get to know what a great guy Hog Wear Spike is. I wish I could explain to you all what a special day that Monday was for me, but words would undoubtedly belittle the experience. Sufficeth to say that it was a very humbling experience to be in the presence of such philanthropy.
Wow... this is going to take forever... Warmother, Wes Neidig, Derek Sauerwine, Screw Gun, son Tom and daughter Wendy, RedskinsFreak, smurfskin, the guy at the gate, the guy at the Redskins store... bahhhh.... I'm going mad trying to remember everyone.
I feel so bad that I am sure I have left out many but I hope you'll all understand that it was a week filled with new faces and I have so much to do... and so little time to get it all out... what a trip.
Thank you to everyone for making a holiday truly unforgettable.
