I need help BIG TIME!

Last night I was taping the game. I had the whole 1 hour ABC 7 Preview Show recorded and everything.

But at the end of the first quarter, the tape stopped and started rewinding. I think I had the wrong setting on because it only taped for about 2 hours.

All I wanted was to have the WHOLE game on tape!

If anyone reading this has the WHOLE game (every single second) on tape and is willing to duplicate it onto another cassette and mail it to me, please send me a Private Message and I will buy the tape from you.

Please help me out folks. What's a 16 year old kid to do without Joe Gibbs' return on tape? :(

actually, young man, 'buying' the tape would be the resale of copyrighted material and is forbidden without the express written consent of the national football league, and is punishable by up to four years of being forced to watch chargers-bengals games.

looks like you'll have to get the tape for free! wish i could help you out. i'm sure someone out there can.

Way to protect the laws of this fine country, Joe. And thanks for steering our young Jake down the straight and narrow path of integrity. Way to go!!! Good luck with getting a copy, Jaske.

I didn't read that as him offering to pay a mark-up over the cost of the blank tape and shipping costs. Could this not be covered by "fair use"?

Anyway, I wish I could help you, but maybe before Saturday, or at least before the season starts, you can direct your parents here so you don't have to deal with that ancient VHS techology. ;)

We tivo-ed it with the intent of putting it on tape. There was a 2 minutes period where we had no video. Have to check out the tivo copy to see. Either way, once I get it on VHS, you are welcome to a copy. If it is messed up I will let you know in case you can find a good copy.

I also Tivo'd it. So, let me know JansenFan if you can't do it and I'll see what I can do.

Jake when you are taping something u need to check what speed you put the tape at? There is SP-Standard Play -LP-dont remember what it stands for and EP-Extended Play-this will tape for 4 hours and on! The other speeds tape for less!

I messed up taping an old Terps game and it made me so mad! SO I learned about this stuff! If you look on the cover to tape it should also tell you the info!

LP = Long Play, I believe.

I know about the tape speeds. SLP is the best. I just assumed that it was on it. I paid for it.
