Keeping threads on topic

Just a moderator's note... let's try and keep threads to content that pertains to the thread. This isn't directed at any thread in particular... just a house-cleaning note that needs to be expressed.
There is a strange hestitancy on this message board to START threads. Really... it's okay. If a thread has somehow gone copletely awry of the original thread... don't hesitate to start a new one. Sometimes we have a tendency to let threads drag on for pages.... which is good... if it's pertaining to the original topic. if it's not, start a new thread and strike up a new conversation there.
It just helps keep 'thread reading' consistent for people who may not log in as often. It also makes 're-visiting' the thread at a later date that much more comprehensible too.
This is not intended as a deterrent at all... quite the contrary. Post away and post often... it's your board... don't be afraid to use it. Obviously don't start threads that already exist a few posts down... but anyone can start a thread... don't be a-feared.
Thanks.
