Don't get your hearts set on a win. Gibbs views preseason as an opportunity to test players and develop components (o-line, d-line, etc). Don't expect him to play to win... he's not SS, and he really doesn't care until the games actually mean something.
If he can win a preseason game through conservative play, he'll take it, but don't get your hearts set on any of the creative half time game plan adjustments that Gibbs is known for. Gibbs will stick with his game plan whether he is up by 20 or down by 30 at the half.
You won't see any of that from coach until the games matter. A win now is just a bonus.
What you can expect to see is coach letting some of his anticipated starters getting a few hits in, QB's and WR's working on their timing in game situations, and allowing some of the more competitive players to get their shot at convincing the coaching staff that they need to stay with the team.
The only major part of the in-season offensive game plan you can expect to see a lot of will be work on the ball control, power running game... and that's only because the timeing is so important and you really can't disguise it as anything else anyway. And, why bother... when it's working, every one in the stadium will know what's comming... they just won't be able to stop it. Beautiful Riggo drill memories
If they loose this game, it's a big "so what?".
If they win? Bonus!

I read that Gibbs is putting a little extra pressure on himself and the players to win this preseason. In the past the Redskins knew they were winners, regardless of what happened in the preseason. The present day Redskins, haven't enjoyed any success, so winning some preseason games is a great confident booster.
These Redskins have to learn to trust each other and the coaching staff and nothing does that better than winning.

My heart is not set on a win. My heart is set on Redskins football. I want to see Clinton Portis bust threw for a touchdown or two. But I mostly want to see what all 4 QB's have to offer! I am also curious to see how Friedman and Raymer do.

Well, I'm all for that... and a DOMINATING offensive line at the start of the season would be nice, too!
