I didn't see Sultan McCullough on Saturday, but I've been hearing that he's been impressing the coaching staff. He seems to be having a good camp and has surprised quite a few people.
What are our thoughts on his prospects? I think he might need another year or two, but I'd hate to lose him to someone else.

I liked him last year and I have seen the same sort of effort this year. He is very fast and seems to be able to catch well out of the backfield. Unfortunately, we already have a guy like that in Chad Morton who also returns kicks. I was happy we kept him last year, but I just think we don't have room for him this year. We can try to put him on the practice squad, but he will probably be snatched up pretty quickly.

Man, I want to see what this kid is capable of. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Chad returning kick offs!

Cut McCollough.
We have the speed back in Morton, who has also received praise from Gibbs. Gibbs singled him out and said that he would like to use him more in the offense as a receiving back. Ladell Betts probably has secured the second spot behind Portis, and Rock Cartwright has proven himself in several games last year that he can carry the load. We have proven players. Sultan is an excellent camp back, but has not proven himself. Go with the proven backs.

The only knock I really have on him is that it took him like 3 carries to get injured last year. He will have to prove he is more durable than that.
