Heard he is lost for the season.

So how does this affect our chances?

.. well it certainly can't hurt. They still have pittman to run the ball, but they depend on Alstott for ALL short yardage.

I'm not that enamored with their passing attack... it's got BJ at the helm.

Hopefully this will make their offense struggle that much more, and give us an even better chance of winning a low-scoring defensive battle.

Which is IMO, the only chance we have.

11 guys injured in TB! of course not all inactive, but still! that will SLOW them down a bit. they seem to be a tad bit faster than others and that always gives them a BIG advantage. so if anything it makes for a more level playing field.

here's a list from bucs' website:
Gruden listed 11 injured Buccaneers, nine of whom were hurt on Monday. Eight of those 11 are considered questionable or worse for Sunday's game in Washington. It appears as if the most severe injuries were incurred by FB Mike Alstott, CB Brian Kelly and LB Jack Golden. Here is a quick rundown of the injured players, their ailments and the early injury-report designation Gruden gave them:

FB Mike Alstott, neck sprain, out
FB Darian Barnes, shoulder sprain, probable
LB Jack Golden, left foot sprain, out
WR Keyshawn Johnson, left thigh bruise, very questionable
WR Joe Jurevicius, right knee sprain, out
CB Brian Kelly, left pectoral strain, doubtful
S Jermaine Phillips, right hamstring strain, probable
LB Shelton Quarles, left forearm fracture/elbow dislocation, questionable
DE Greg Spires, right calf strain, probable
RB Aaron Stecker, right knee sprain, questionable
WR Karl Williams, left hamstring strain, questionable

anyway will the curse mean a win? we seem to be becoming experts in killing ourselves!
