Well currently Im at work, we're doing some pretty major upgrades and of course they can only be done on the weekend as to not impact the operations in a negative way. So the PC Gods have blessed us with automated installs where it does almost all of the work, lol. So while the servers are building themselves I'll be here.

Madden 05!!! TOMMOROW NIGHT BABY!!!!!! At work I'll sneak my portable TV in, and I will be watching the game! These end users are just going to have to call the help desk tommorow, even though its coporate policy they refuse. After work, and while Im waiting in line for Madden at gamestop I'll be watching the game.

I hate to say it, but I am missing the game for the most part. I have football practice from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM Eastern... I'll just have to have my mother record the game.

Today I'm gunna go to the beach for a while and then hit up happy hour that will hopefully last through the night. Then tomorrow i have court, then work, and then madden on one tv; and the game on the other...anybody that wants a game, i'll be online tomorrow night...Jeremy81 is my screen name. I've been so tired of playin ESPN2K5, it's too hard to get a game and you can't talk to people

I already asked to be off here at 4:00 pst so that i can be at our Skins bar chanting our fight song and getting ready for the game. We'll debate certain additions or subtractions to the lineup and where they went right or wrong. I am so excited. Football season is here.

Well, I'm feeling terrible, so I won't be going in to work tomorrow. Hopefully sitting around all day and waiting for the game to start won't kill me.

I don't care if we just see some off-tackle runs, short passes, and mostly backups. The first Redskin game is always one of my favorite days of the year!! Hail to the Redskins!!

Yes, I have OFF tommorow! This is the second time the football Gods have come through!

The first time was when the Rams came to FedEx Field in 2002 and on the final play, the Rams were driving to score the game winner. I prayed to all the God's that we find a way to stop them. I was in that end zone on the drive. I rubbed my Redskins dog tag and prayed that we find a way to stop them. As soon as you know it, LaVar knocked the ball loose and Daryl Gardener fell on it. I flipped out and my eyes were wide open. I was shocked.

So yes, the football Gods have come through big time. I even have off Saturday (the Skins first home preseason game) and I haven't even told my boss that I need off for all home games this season.

LOL Jake I'm glad you have off of work! I cannot imagine how distracted you would have been knowing Redskins football was going on while you were working!
I will stay busy until tomorrow but I'm hoping they start the Pre game hype way early!

Hey Warmother. We have a DVR, I plan on recording the game. So if you want I can make you a tape of it. That way when we beat the crap out of the Broncos you can say you didn't miss a minute of it.

After going to camp, I have to catch up on work. Gotta keep the clients happy.

I will however be planted firmly in from of the ole Tellie promptly at 7:30 ready for the new era to begin.

And I hope we lose! I am superstitious - we always seem to have a better regular season (under Gibbs) when we lost the majority of our preseason games. Just my rememberances, so don't quote me on that.

It's even hard for Coach Gibbs to lose in preseason though. I read somewhere that his record in the preseason was 29-21 or something close to that.

I hope we win this game. I only hope we win it just to shut the reporters up. No, this game won't prove anything but the way they hate on our team they will make it out to be the end of the world.

Lets win, and shut them up.

Here is a breakdown of preseason records (Under Gibbs) and how we did that year.

1981 (3-1) 8-8 missed playoffs
1982 (0-4) 8-1 won SB
1983 (2-2) 14-2 lost SB
1984 (2-2) 11-5 lost Divisional Playoff Game
1985 (4-0) 10-6 missed playoffs
1986 (3-1) 12-4 lost NFC Championship Game
1987 (3-1) 11-5 won SB
1988 (3-1) 7-9 missed playoffs
1989 (4-1) 10-6 missed playoffs
1990 (3-1) 10-6 lost Divisional Playoff Game
1991 (1-3) 14-2 won SB
1992 (2-3) 9-7 lost Divisional Playoff Game

So of the 4 times we missed the playoffs we were 3-1 or better each year. But in 1987 we won the SB with a 3-1 preseason record.

I am not saying we will not do well if we have a good preseason record, but we are 1-7 preseason in 2 SB years so I like our odds when we lose more PS games than we win.
