I don't have any links yet, but I heard from a friend of mine that there's reports coming out of Miami that Ricky Williams is interested in coming back to the NFL, but ONLY if he can be traded to Oakland.

I apologize if this is turns out to be bogus.

He can't really come back though. He sent in his retirement papers which included his statement removing himself from the Substance Abuse Program. If he comes back before a year from the date of his letter, it counts as a postive test. THat would be number 4 and constitute a year suspension, plus the fine and 4 game suspension he is already facing.

Here's a link

Ricky Williams was in Oakland last weekend, visiting his twin sister, Cassie...

Man, I hope she's not an identical twin!

From that article:
Williams likes Oakland so much, he expressed the desire to play there in 2005.

Hard to imagine "The Black Hole" being the right place to treat his Social Anxiety Disorder. I guess he's thinking trial by fire.

Does he not think that Oakland is also part of the NFL, and therefore will have the same drug policy?

My dad has suggested that there's a possible link between Norv's arrival in Oakland and William's interest in playing there. . .I gotta say it sounds alright.

"Didn't like Dave so much, but he liked Norv," says my dad.
