Thomas Boswell's article is really disturbing

Boswell said the mood in the locker room was so happy and fun he thought he had actually stumbled on the winner's locker room.

This is not really the level of seriousness we would like to see I think. Heck, most fans are pissed off, you would hope the players are moreso.[/url]

... that is disturbing, if it's true.

Personally, I don't have much faith in the validity of the local press.

I totally believe in the possibility of there being lightheartedness in that locker room.

But, I feel that's the nature of the "new" NFL and would have been the same in the locker rooms of the Giants, Seahawks, Cardinals, Broncos, etc.

If so it stinks. We need them to have a bad taste in their mouths that only winning will rinse.

NOW SPIT!

Man U beat me to it. I was going to start an article on this too. And you know what, I don't give a damn wut year it is wut time or wut era. This ABOVE ALL MAKES ME DISSAPOINTED TO BE A SKINS FAN. I don't care who dislikes me for saying that, but if you want to root for a team who doesn't care if they win or not cus they'll get paid regardless then go right ahead.

Thats the MAIN reason I hate the NBA, there is no feeling no emotion just money. And I'll be damned if I waste my time on a team that performs like that.

Maybe I'm just upset, but I'd root for the f****** Cowgrrls before I root for an uninspired, and undriven Skins team, I simply cannot respect that. And even if Boswell didn't write that article it was blantantly obvious on the field of the teams demeanor. They're a bunch of hyped up, over paid children.

Yep... and so is every other team in the league.

Welcome to free agency.

... and I can't believe you made that Cowpukes reference... you really think they're any different? They have a coach that probably doesn't allow them to show it... but all professional sports have become the me-me-me leagues. What do you expect when you pay a guy millions of dollars to play a game?

I'm going to pretend you didn't say that and all will be forgiven. As BH states, welcome to free agency.

15 years ago you didn't see players high fiving and joking with opposing players on the field during a game like they do today. Shoot they are all old friends, probably most have played together at one time or another. Times have changes.

Do you think Diron Talbert and Manny Sistrunk would have helped Donavan McNabb up after a sack today? I hope not - some things should remain sacred.

If this is true, it is more than disturbing. This absolutely pisses me off! Too bad I don't weigh 500 lbs and stand 7'5". If I did, I would walk into that locker room and B-slap all of those freakin' players with smiles on their faces.

Maybe I'm just upset, but I'd root for the f****** Cowgrrls before I root for an uninspired, and undriven Skins team, I simply cannot respect that.

Wow! I, like the others, will forgive this comment (not that my forgiveness is needed...I know, it sounds pretentious)...but

I would rather have my _____ chopped off and sing soprano in the Vienna Boys Choir before I would root for those f**** Cowboys! 'Nuff said.

Yeah, but then you'd have the NFLPA on your back for creating a hostile work environment.

Just like I heard that the reason Spurrier backed off is that the NFLPA will not ALLOW players to be fined under the current contract for things like penalties.

WTF?

Well I'm sorry. I'm so upset with these Skins that I don't take back wut I said, even though I didn't really mean it. But how in the world can U have fun after a loss? I mean minutes after a loss??!? I just simply don't respect that. And Spurrier thus far hasn't shown me that he has control of this team.

Guys chill out :!: We are going to be inconsistent. We are going to commit penalties. We have one of the best offensive systems in place right now. You guys got to believe we win games more toward the end of the year because we are still jelling.

I dont know about the guys having fun in the locker room and stuff but that is BS. They lost but why do they need to hang there heads ? I mean cmon they almost put up one of the biggest upsets in team history. You have to look at that as a thin cloud with lots of sunshine to follow! [-o<
