God, the negativity in the article is disgusting. I couldn't finish reading it.

WHAT DID I SAY..I SAID IT WOULD BE NEGAVITY....ALTHOUGH I THOUGH HE SPOKE VERY WELL ABOUT PORTIS AND RAMSEY....WHY RIP BARROW THE MAN IS COMING OFF A SEASON WHERE HE HAD ALMOST 175 TAKLES!..ITS ONE COMPLIMENT FOR EVERY TWO RIPS ON OUR PLAYERS......

The trouble with pastabelly is that he fails to recognize the need for Ramsey to "develop". If he can honestly say that Spurriers system allowed him to "develop", then he's a worse sportswriter than I thought he was. The only reason he writes so negatively of the Redskins, is because all his predictions up to now have been wrong. Let him write, and let Joe Gibbs run the team. And Joe Gibbs is a far better coach than pastabelly is a writer.

I was listening to Fat Lenny yesterday on some Sports talk show (Eric and Chris Casilious -- I'm sure I spelled that wrong). I was actually impressed by his knowledge and grasp of things...UNTIL, they asked him about the Redskins and he started busting on them...mainly about Brunell. I'm just not sure what this guy's got against the 'Skins. Haven't read the article yet..but I'm about to....but based on what he said yesterday...I don't think it's going to be too positive.

Give him a break...he's from Brooklyn...that's the only way they know how to talk.

OK...just read the article...pretty negative w/a few begrudging compliments...but those compliments only serve to show how stupid (in his eyes) the Redskins are. For example, he praises Ramsey, but only does so to show the Redskins are insane for not starting him over Brunell. Now, imagine if we went into camp with Ramsey as our #1. He would have written how we are putting all of our eggs in one basket with a young Quarterback. You can't win with Fat Lenny.
And one other comment. He blames Mr. Snyder, yet again, for getting Brunell. That was Gibbs decision....GIBBS...not Snyder. Why do they continue to blame Snyder? Easy target, that's why. It's unfair to him and to the Redskins to continue to make those false claims.
But, anyway, it's over...he's said what he has to say. Fat Lenny makes me long for the inferior reporting of Mark Schlabach.

Besides the Brunell comment, most of what he said was pretty valid. I guess things sound worse coming from his mouth. Yes the entire article was negative and he didn't mention anything positive except for Portis. A bit biased? Yes, but the negatives were somewhat true or possible concerns. I guess Im just saying the article wasn't balanced.

Let's get this admission of bias out of the way up front
Well at least he admits to his bias! But he never makes it clear that his bias is against the franchise as a whole.

He also managed to spell his name as "Synder". Well, at least when I read it. They might have caught that error and changed it, by now.

After reading through it again, he told is nothing. That entire article was a waste of 1's and 0's.
