It is pouring down rain here, thundering too.

It has been this way the last week, 90 degrees for most of the day...then a thunderstorm...then back to the heat which causes nasty humidity.

Snyder loves spending money so why don't we have a "bubble"?
Other teams have a domed practice field to go with their other outdoor fields...why don't the Skins? They could at least use it when it rains to avoid injury and prepare for dome games in Atlanta, New Orleans, Minnesota, etc.

Last year a rain storm caused Spurrier to move the practice to an indoor soccer complex nearby since Redskins Park got flooded.

just My 2 cents

Actually, Snyder was going to build a bubble for Spurrier after last season. That plan went to the scrap heap once Spurrier quit. I'm sure it will be in the works again though. That's typical August weather... humid w/ late afernoon thunderstorms.

Man, I swear I heard one of the Redskins' lackey brigade tell us that practice was called off yesterday.

Not only did I head to my car, I left. Then I get home and see video of the short practice on the hope-they-rip-it-up turf.

But it wound up being a good move. Beltway traffic was worse than bad.

The rain was a huge factor in my not making it out to yesterday afternoon. I thought it would be a "wash-out". Guess I was wrong, too.
