As part of my usual Thursday night routine, I swing by my neighboring Clarendon Ballroom for a few drinks before heading downtown. Walking in, I notice cover was a little more than usual, but what's $10 in the scheme of things. After walking in a few feet I noticed something was different about the place. A few feet more and I noticed there were people there wearing Redskins gear. A few feet more and I see Cheerleaders, dressed to the nine, strutting around. It was great, I had no idea, but the Redskinettes were there for some event. Got to see plenty of the girls in person - most of them were top tier talent. Didn't get any numbers though, they were all constantly surrounded by sausages trying to get them to sign calendars and take photos.

That was their 2005 calendar release party. It was advertised on redskins.com... I thought about heading over myself!

I just want to say that they Reskinettes have been upgraded big time since Snyder bought the team.

JDC- If you are a regular at "the ballroom" have you ever seen a band called Living Room Style? They may just go by LRS now.

Just wondering.

Can't say I've heard of them. Usually the only bands there I recognize are the Dewey Beach regulars.
