great breakdown on the skins by parker. he showed all three of simeon rice's sacks last year against us. the first was against royal. the second was against two rb's, i didn't catch their jersey numbers. the last one was against betts solo. he said nobody could blame those sacks on anybody but spurrier.

at least they got it right.
then they showed gibbs in an interview, and he was talking about how if there was a premier pass rusher on the opposing team, he'd have the o-line double him, and the qb spinting in the opposite direction.

good stuff.
playbook is a really good breakdown of the game, and they have added some really nice features this year.

I caught the number of one of them. It was Rock Cartwright, I believe the other one was Trung Candidate. But Im not sure. If you happened to miss it or want to watch it again it will be on tonight @ 11.
They actually missed one. Simeon had another sacked matched up against Byron Chamberlin. Another tight End.
Notice when we had him matched against his appropriate person he had no sacks. But when he was against a Tight End or Running Back he got 4.
Also did you catch Joe Gibbs basically calling SS stupid.
He said sometghing to the effect of. "Any coach who wouldn't gameplan, and double team against a proven Pass Rusher is stupid.

didn't catch the ss insult. i'll try again later @ 11. but i thought it was royal who was the tight end one on one with rice. i have the game on tape, i'll check later. either way it was scheme, not o-line.

The first sack was on Royal (the one they caught) The second was on Chamberlin (The one they didn't catch) But your right, it was not the O line's fault.

He didn't directly call out Spurrier. Gibbs said basically "you have to be stupid as a coach not to identify a DE threat and not properly match-up against him to protect your QB." He said something like that.

Yeah, he called Spurrier STUPID...and all other coached that make the simple mistakes like Spurrier did. Gibbs wants to win and keep his players healthy, other coaches that dont think that way are indeed STUPID.
it was a good show, NFL Network is getting better and better. I have heard some big time names are coming to the Network soon.

Thanks, I made it first with a grey background, with the NY on top. I sent to Nc43, he said it was a little blurry & he'd change the grey background. I said for him to do what ever he had to do, to help it look better....and there it is! He did a great job!

Spurrier needed to be called stupid...i'm sure every skin's fan watching that tampa game was calling him much worse. do you think anyone was surprised that royal, betts or morton couldn't block one of the most feared DE's in the league...well, maybe spurrier was...he was proabably thinking, "hell, that blocking sceme worked great against vandy...what's going on??

"
